Two birds with one stone. Our foreign born former superhero who loves his girlfriends to still be in high school has been garnering some bad publicity of late. Surprisingly, none of it has to do with his obsession for his high school aged co-stars. Human-caused climate change is very likely real and will very likely be disastrous. (If it isn't, don't fear, population overshoot will take care of us).
That said, this girl repeatedly sailing across the ocean on racing boats isn't going to help shit.

Humans affect the environment (pollution) we don't affect the sun or our atmosphere or the fact that the entire solar system is warming up. Climate change is a sham to scam rich nations of their wealth and re-distribute. I'm tired of the bullshit. Anyhoo, Henry sounds border pedo and age of consent in Sweden is 15 so if she / her family fall for him and his PR crew, icky but legal if it goes beyond climate things

FWIW, Cavill recently said he did not give up the role of Superman, so things remain to be seen on that front.
Thunberg I can take or leave, but she really should not have lied about her treatment by the Deutsche Bahn when they put her in first class and treated her very well. It is kind of telling about who she is.
She is a little kid. Her thirsty parents/handlers shouldn't put her into these situations.
Especially because it won't make a scintilla of difference.
She voluntarily made herself a public figure and continues to maintain that presence. She is 16 years old and not such a little kid.
I don't have strong opinions on this one, Do Tell. If you think she's making all her PR decisions, that's fine. I'll say she has little life experience to be doing so, but if she fucks up she fucks up. Not my problem.
No, of course she is getting some guidance, but there are some things where it is coming from her and she should have someone correcting her.
Someone... either Greta, or her parents, or the sailors, or the reporters, or her fans, or the experts, needs to understand that lots of people have valid reasons to cross the Atlantic but don't have racing sailboats and expert crews at their immediate, no-cost, disposal.
I'll take her seriously when she encourages people to have fewer or no kids. Which probably means never.

I can 100% say, Greta will not touch Cavill's wand, if that is what people think. Being from the cursed nation of Sweden, I am forced to follow her every day in the media. She's a kid with mental and speech problems, not really seeing the gain of giving her any grief. But I also don't think I'd look to any sixteen year old for guidance. She's a kid that got famous for supposedly caring about the world. That's still better than moving a ball or competing in some event we only give a sh!t about every four years.
