It's obvious from reading every kiss butt tabloid article that they are all not on the side of the permanent A list "singer." Every single one of them mentions health, rather than the real reason a person in her life stepped down from one of the positions in her life.

ReplyDeleteDidn't her dad just step down temporarily while he was sick? He was just in court last week getting a restraining order against some blogger on behalf of Brit and her estate.
ReplyDeleteBritney needs to release a stripped down acoustic record where she can turn "singer" back into just singer. She needs to set up the last two decades of her career. If she doesn't, she will just come off as a bad version of Cher. Of course, she can throw in a pop hit or two to keep the machine happy. I just would hate to see her trying to be sexy ala Madge as she grows older. Yuck.

ReplyDelete@Andy he got physical with one of her kids in a fight and Papa Federline got a restraining order. I’m sure he’d drop it for a check though?
ReplyDelete@Sook, I think her brain will go before her body does, and two decades is pretty optimistic. Then again who knows what's going on there.
ReplyDeleteOof, Britney makes me so sad. It seems like no one's ever seen her as a woman first, but rather as either a meal ticket or someone to exploit.
ReplyDelete@Sook I totally cosign your statement. She needs to do a stripped down, maybe even orchestral set of all her biggest hits and maybe tell some stories along the way. She can give her body a break from all that dancing and someone can write a classic ballad just for her. She has been at it since she started. I'm sure she can afford to take a break.

ReplyDeleteDoes no one remember way back when she did a limited reality series called "Chaotic"? Cameras followed her while she was in tour and Federline was with her, before they had kids? I distinctly remember that she was CONSTANTLY singing in between gigs and not just for rehearsal but just because. She had a pretty decent singing voice, deeper than what you hear in her songs. Does anyone else remember this????
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, sure - this great artiste should release a bare-bones basic album showcasing her serious singing chops...what are you people smoking?? This mental case is going to work at whatever they propose to her till she can't fit in a sequin bodystocking any more. What else does she have to do if not perform now and then, and so what? Otherwise she would be watching daytime tv in a stupor listening to the voices in her head.

ReplyDeleteSpears can sing. The problem is that she's mentally unstable, and has given control of her life and finances to the wrong people.
