One More Seinfeld Episode?

Jerry Seinfeld has revealed that he has been planning on doing one more Seinfeld episode which would wrap everything up. Although he has said that he thinks it might be too late because the last DVD of the show has been released, he has heard from the other cast members that they would all do it, if he could put the script together.

"I didn't think it could happen now. It would've had to happen because this (new DVD 'Seinfeld: The Complete Series') is the last DVD coming out, so now would've been the time to do it. (But) there were too many things happening at the same time. Then, I got a call from a few people in the cast, and they said they were willing, so maybe it isn't too late after all. "

I do feel kind of an unresolved angst because of the way the last episode ended, BUT, to wrap up everything in a nice bow would seem to be the antithesis of what the show was about. There were no nice neat happy endings at the end of the show. It was just one big long discussion which wouldn't end until they all died or I guess found other friends or got married.

I kind of like the idea of them sitting in a jail cell, forced to endure each other for years and years. That is how it should be. In their eyes the world revolved around them, and this was in essence the perfect tribute to them and their lives.

Of course if the writer's stike goes on for very long and I am focred to watch reality television for the next four months, I will be probably salicate for a new Seinfeld episode.

Oprah Is Devastated But Also Is Covering Her Ass

In the latest news coming from OWLS, Oprah said, "This is one of the most devastating experiences of my life, but there's a lot to be gained, a lot to be learnt. (But) we are moving forward. What I know is that no one, not the accused, will destroy the dream that I have held (for this academy) and I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to ensure it becomes the safe, nurturing place that I have envisioned. (When I found out about the allegations) I was so stunned I couldn't wrap my brain around it. I was going from room to room in my house crying. But I pulled myself together and started making calls, to find out how best to look after the girls."

"I take it very personally as I said to the girls this summer before any I knew any of this was going on. I said to them, 'I am a mama bear when it comes to protecting my children', and these girls are like my children. I take the responsibility of what their futures hold personally. I don't feel it's harmed my personal reputation as I have not done anything wrong. It's a horrible situation but (when I spoke to the girls) I encouraged them to speak up to protect themselves and their fellow classmates that this is about taking their voices back. I assured them that the abuse will end and good will prevail."

"(The case) has shaken me to my core, but at the core is a spiritual foundation and my belief that everything happens for a reason and these things will pass. I am grateful to their parents, guardians and the caretaker for their continued support. The resilience of the human spirit is stronger than hatred, violence and loss, and it's also stronger than any abuse. Their (the girls') lights will not be diminished by this experience."

First of all can you imagine a bail of just $458? I know it is a poor country, but still. Plus, you would think the accused could come up with it if Oprah was paying her a decent wage. How much were these people making anyway? The thing that I found most disheartening about what Oprah said was the fact that she says she didn't do anything wrong personally. The only reason to lay that out now and probably to the parents is to start her defense in case of a lawsuit.

If you were a parent wouldn't you sue? To me, Oprah is responsible. It is her school, she did the personal interviews of all the kids, so I think it is reasonable to assume she must have personally interviewed the employees. If she didn't. How come she didn't? What kind of safeguards did she have built in? It seems as if from her firings that she wants to blame the boss of the accused as they should be responsible, but what? It stops with the boss at the school and not with Oprah herself?

I know she was devastated, but I think she needs to step up and say, "hey, the buck stops with me."

Halle Berry Isn't A Doctor And Didn't Stay At A Holiday Inn Express

Halle Berry has performed her own medical miracle and doctor's aren't happy about it because it isn't possible and she is confusing the hell out of other people.

Halle Berry suffers from diabetes, but she has pissed off a bunch of doctors by claiming she had succeeded in downgrading the severity of her disease with a healthy diet. The actress was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes many years ago, but recently alleged that she has reclassified herself as a Type 2 diabetic simply through good living.

Doctors though say she is confusing fellow diabetics with her comments.

A diabetes specialist said, "If you come off insulin, then you were always a Type 2. She is feeding into all the confusion in the world." People diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes cannot reverse their condition because their pancreas is destroyed, whereas Type 2 sufferers still internally produce some insulin."

The problem is, her interview has caused many diabetes patients to wonder if they can cure themselves like Halle or if she got some kind of treatment that they couldn't get. Just when you think Halle is doing good she does something like this. It's kind of like, great career, great career, hit and run. Or great career, great career, my boyfriend is a sex addict.

Vince Says He's The One Who Broke Up With Jen

Despite what every report has ever said about their relationship, Vince Vaughn insists he and Jennifer Aniston didn't break up because he is a womanizer, but rather he ended the relationship because he didn't like the media attention.

Vince said: "If you go out with someone famous, you'll get a certain level of attention around you but it was never something I focused on. And ultimately I do the best I can - I make my movies, and that's all you really can do. I've never done a lot of magazine covers. I don't go to a lot of premieres. I don't really cultivate that. For me I've always made the best movies I can make and then just walked away."

I think it is kind of sad that he was the first to talk about the break-up in public and then tries to make himself seem like he was in love with her, was really into her, but that he just couldn't handle the press and media, because he isn't that kind of guy. That is such crap. He is using the media with the interview to throw himself in a good light and make it seem like he was the perfect angel, when in fact, he wasn't.

Meanwhile he doesn't give Jen any room to maneuver here at all. What can she do? If she comes out and says what really happened then she will look like a victim again which she doesn't want or whiny and a victim which is worse. On the other hand she must be pissed that he is getting away from this looking like a good guy. She just doesn't have any luck at all. Well, except for Friends and the $1M per episode. I guess that's lucky. Some of you would say having sex with Brad Pitt is lucky, but then she also had to work with David Schwimmer for all those years, so it kind of cancels out doesn't it?

Plus, she has to put up with Courteney Cox knocking on her door every minute asking if she will watch Coco while she and David try on each other's clothes.

What Else Could Have Been Happening In Fargo?

Recently in Fargo, North Dakota, Sheriff Paul Laney came up with the idea to stage a fake party in Ozzy Osbourne's name in order to try and catch 500 criminals. It is not the first time it has been done in recorded police history and won't be the last. Ozzy was pissed that the sheriff did it without asking him first, and accused the sheriff of being lazy.

Actually, it is a good idea, especially since Ozzy was scheduled to play a show two days after the party. The thing that got me about this story is that 500 people were invited and only 30 showed up. 30 people? In Fargo, North Dakota? What the hell else were they supposed to do? If you live in Fargo North Dakota, you are happy if you get hot fries at McDonalds. To get invited to an Ozzy Osbourne party with free booze and food and only have 30 people show up?

Ozzy shouldn't be worried about the sheriff using his name. He should be worried that only 30 people showed up to a party where he was the star. That is embarrassing. No offense or anything, but it seems like it would be his kind of crowd the sheriff invited. It isn't like he invited a bunch of criminals to go see The Jonas Brothers or something.

Run Katie Run

Do you think that at some point during the five+ hours Katie Holmes was running the New York Marathon that she said to herself, "I could just take a quick left here, run off the course and just keep running and be free." I think she thought of it. I also think that the lojack she had on her ankle, Tom whispering in her ear on her bluetooth, and the fact that she had minders surrounding her probably made that decision a little harder. For five hours though, she got off the treadmill she uses at home and was actually free. Free to run and see people. Free to think that she could just be one of the other thousands of runners. She didn't really dress like a runner. She dressed more like a soccer mom going to the store, which made me really think she wanted to make a break for it.

Now, of course I could be all wrong and she could have spent the whole five hours thinking how lucky she is to have Tom in her life, be called Kate, only allowed to work on roles Tom says are ok, submit her schedule to his, never see her parents or family, and of course wonder why the hell she ever wanted to run a marathon and if there was a place to puke from all the exertion, and if anyone would take notice if she used the port-a-potty on the side of the course.
If you sign up for the Ironman triathlon in Hawaii Katie, you can stay out of Tom's grasp for 13 or 14 hours probably.

NY Daily News Blind Item

Which "SNL" vet is making himself unpopular on the sets of his TV guest spots? "He doesn't bother talking to any of the men," fumes one insider. "He's only interested in flirting with all the girls."
