Mindy McCready Released The McSteamy Tape
Yesterday afternoon I thought about posting something about the Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane and Kari Ann Peniche tape, but there really isn't much to talk about. I think the picture of Rebecca smoking crack in a bathtub with another woman was much more juicy, and it isn't like there is any actual sex going on in the tape. Part of the story yesterday was who leaked the tape. Most people assumed it was Kari Ann since she could use the publicity and the career boost. It turns out though that it was probably Mindy McCready. If you watch Celebrity Rehab than you know that Mindy and Kari Ann were roommates. Mindy for drugs and alcohol and Kari Ann for sex addiction. In the show, Mindy was always accusing Kari Ann of stealing money and things and so according to the NY Daily News, Mindy got back at Kari Ann by stealing Kari Ann's hard drive. On the hard drive was this video. At some point in the past couple of months, Rebecca, Eric, Kari Ann, Mindy and some lawyers got together to decide who was going to own the various items on the hard drive. Eric won the video, but it still got released. Who did it? That is the big question. When confronted by Eric & Rebecca's lawyer, Kari Ann denied doing it, so if you believe her and that is a big if, that means it was probably Mindy. Either that or Eric is really proud of his d**k and wanted the world to see it.

This was a blind a while back and this site decided it was gayheart. I don't think it was revealed but it is now. Sad.
Isn't there more to this story, though. I've read a few articles saying Peniche is being investigated for running a call girl ring. So, is it possible that McSteamy and his crackie accident-prone wife hired Peniche for the night?

Susan I think Gayheart has a lot of trouble looking at herself in the mirror. She killed a 9 year old. It was an accident but I imagine it is still almost impossible to live with.

It's great to see that that event really changed her life and prompted her to do something meaningful with it such as smoke crack and have threesomes or just lounge around high and naked while being videotaped.
I remember feeling really badly for this woman when that accident occurred, but her actions speak so loudly. She just doesn't care. Go volunteer. Go help people. Gawd, do something. She doesn't even really act in too many things these days.
I'm all for having fun, and I really try not to judge people on their extra-curricular activities, but the more that comes about Rebecca Gayheart, the more stabby I get. Sorry for rant.

People are stupid, videoing themselves naked/high/whatever, if they think it will never get released. But if Mindy McCready released it, she's a pig. It's none of her business.

i agree her drug use is for self medicating, not that that makes it right, but it's her coping mechanism, and hopefully she'll get help someday. just cause she's an actress doesn't mean she isnt subjected to the same problems as us

There were 2 things that disturbed me. 1. How freaking hot was that water? When she leaned over, she was red from the waist down. 2. The fact that the other girl knew how to work their jacuzzi. I'm strange, I know.

the vid can be seen at fleshbot.com, it's not a porn site from what i can see...it has the same set up like gawker.com. as for the "other girl" Kari Ann, the reason why she knew how to work that jacuzzi is because it IS her place. while it is only a nudie vid, i don't doubt that they had a threesome at this point. oh and as for the blind about the crackhead's hubby wanting to have a baby...seeing this vid makes me think Eric Dane might just be an enabler...they were ALL saying they were high.
