I Don't Understand Bristol Palin

This is not just about Bristol Palin, but about so many celebrities who buy into some made up story and then expand on it and start to believe it and then look ridiculous when called out on it. Back when she was giving her first media interviews about her new book, the only thing people really cared about was her getting pregnant. The rest of the book might as well have said, redrum for 200 pages because the only thing people cared about was the sex. At first, when she thought people might be interested in the other pages Bristol's story was that she got drunk on wine coolers, had sex with Levi and woke up to find that he had left the bed. Later, as she got more reaction from the story, it sent to stole my virginity to the point where she was basically accusing Levi of date raping her. You know, because he had to because she was so pure and so strong in her moral beliefs that she would never have sex before marriage. This is the same kind of crap that every Disney star did with those purity rings. You know the ones where they will wait until marriage. The only one that waited is stuck in a marriage that is not going to last. All the other brothers said forget that and no one has said a word. Same with Miley and Demi and Selena. Remember when Britney tried to tell us she would not have sex until she was married?

Bristol was on The View and Barbra Walters of all people called her out and pointed out that after this stealing of the virginity, she did keep having sex with him. Bristol has stopped talking about that part and prefers everyone to think she got pregnant from the one time. She didn't though and kept having sex with him everytime she saw him because she said her moral code was broken. The thing is she makes it seem like she has not done it since. A one time aberration. Please. She has been with at least three guys since, and I wish they would come forward to wipe that self satisfied smirk off her face. At least the Jonas Brothers don't talk about the purity ring thing anymore because everyone knows they gave up that whole thing a long time ago.

She would have more credibility if she either said abstinence is hard and she cracked or if she said she never believed it from the beginning. Lying, exaggerating, and backpedalling make her look stupid and make everyone question everything else she says.

Bristol believes you can be revirginated between sweaty rounds of sex and also between pregnancies.

Girl was pregnant when she was competing on Dancing with the Stars - that's why she gained over 30 pounds during the competition, which simply doesn't happen when you're dancing every day. Look at how much weight Kirstie Alley lost.

We'll probably never know what happened to that particular baby. Bristol tries really hard to dissociate her maternity of Trig, born before Tripp. But Trig is hers, too.

Not only that, but there are video and photographic signs that she has had other pregnancies as well.

So for her to become the poster child for "moral code" and "abstinence" and all of that is TOO funny. Only in America, folks.

What ever happened to her son? (Tripp? Trac? Tris?) he's never anywhere in sight!

I give those purity rings folks a break.

I think when they are young teens and the idea is put to them by adults in charge of their image and publicity - it probably sounds like a great idea to them.

But they are still children. And they grow up.

That's why I don't give a crap what Biebs and Selena are doing. They are 17 & 18 year olds who, by all appearances - are behaving like 17 & 18 year olds.

I will never believe this purity ring/virginity business is anything more than a image/marketing idea and adult comes up with to sell to these still children. And I do not expect a child to know better than to go with it at the time.

What's to understand Enty? She is like the rest of the famewhores trying to stretch their 15 mins into 30. I look forward to the day when we say "Bristol who?"

@Felicia

I do not buy that Trig is Bristol's business for one second.

Even Palin's emails, which she thought no one would see back when she wrote them (pre-VP run) debunked that.

Nor do I buy she was pregnant on DWTS. If she had had an abortion or miscarriage, someone from a hospital or clinic would have released it- privacy be damned.

Cecilia00 - I agree, Trig is Sarah's baby. The odds of SP having a baby with Down Syndrome is significantly higher and way more likely than BP.

How many people gain 30 pounds the first few months of pregnancy? I think she just ate her way through rehearsals for DWTS.

From where I see it, the problem with Bristol is not that she spews lies at every turn, the real problem is that there are Americans who not only buy every word she says, but truly believe that she is a role model, and should have been part of the real first American Family i.e. living in the White House. That is why her books sell, people actually pay to hear 'speak', and would still vote for her mother, platforming on the all-American-heart-of-America family.

No matter how many times there are videotaped and written proofs of the contrary by Bristol and her family.

MISCH said...

Whatever, she's so full of it. However she has found a way of making more money than she ever imagined and she'll keep selling her line of bull as long as idiots pay for it.

Thank you, Cecilia.

Why is she STILL famous?

Well said Felicia - "So for her to become the poster child for "moral code" and "abstinence" and all of that is TOO funny. Only in America, folks."

And let me add, that poor baby.

Enough with this ridiculous family. I think Palin truly does believe she can see Russia from her house, too.

REGRET IS NOT RAPE! I've yelled this to some girlfriends who felt someone took advantage of them. Consent is consent. Rape is Rape. Regret for sleeping with someone is NOT RAPE! It belittles those women who I know have been raped.

RJ said...

While I am no fan of Levi, I wish he'd sued Bristol for libel or slander or whatever. The girl practically said he raped her. Jamie's Girl is so right, when girls realize that they were just a piece of tail to a guy and then act like they were taken advantage of it is a slap in the face of every woman who has been REALLY raped. I pray she never finds out what it would be like to actually have a sex act "stolen" from her, even though she would almost deserve it.

juicy said...

RJ - who the FUCK deserves rape?!

juicy said...

speaking as someone who actually HAS BEEN. i assume you have not, you ignorant pos.

Murphy Brown 2020 said...

In RJ's defense -- though his/her language *was* a bit insensitive -- I've seen people on this site and other websites (and in real life, too) utter similar sentiments about hardcore male criminals heading off to prison -- that it's gonna be awesome when they get reamed in the showers or whatever.

I think defining rape as some mere act of spite trivializes the true horror of the crime. And I DO understand the VAST difference between an innocent victim and a hardened convict, but I just don't ever want sexual violation to become some *defensible* thing that a person "deserves" to have happen to them.

A year from now Biscuit Palin and her momma will be OLD NEWS. Forgotten about and hardly ever mentioned. Bitch better enjoy those last moments of attention while she has it.

Bristol didn't gain 30 pounds in the first few months of pregnancy. She was much farther along than that. So after dancing on Dancing with the Stars she either had a late, probably dicey abortion (trip to Haiti, anyone?) or ended up having it and adopting it out - or it disappeared into the Palin compound where lots of "extra" babies are being raised. Track Palin just married his pregant girlfriend Britta so there is a lot of this "making inconvenient pregnancies go away" going on with the Palins. Hopefully Track and Britta can actually have some semblance of a normal family life - but being Palins, it probably ain't gonna happen.

Once you understand that Bristol has existed on a spectrum of various levels of pregnancy since she was about 14, you'll understand her a lot better. And you'll see how the mind control or family hypnotism or whatever the fuck has been done to her is extremely tragic and weird.

Keep in mind that both Sarah Palin and her mother each got pregnant out of wedlock and then got hastily married - so this is a long term family issue, intergenerational. Perfectly normal women with perfectly normal sex drives being forced to avoid birth control, deny their impulses, and so forth - creating many tragically unwanted children who then become abused and neglected. Sarah was sexually abused by her own father. Sarah's father only ran to Alaska to escape rape claims from Iowa or wherever it was the Heaths were first living. There is lots of Flowers in the Attic stuff going on here. Someday, maybe the kids will finally get therapy, move away from the elders who perpetuate the cycles of shameful silence in that family, and share their stories with the world.

Look for a Mackenzie Phillips type bio from Bristol, Willow, or Track in about twenty years.

If anyone is interested in the purity ring phenomenon and how it leads to promiscuity more than abstinence, check out an excellent, award-winning documentary done by some friends of mine, "Daddy I Do." http://www.facebook.com/DaddyIDo

I've read comments from Bristol and later, mommy gets a hold of her, and she changes her story. Do you remember several years ago when she said teen abstinence was not realistic? Then she changed her story? There's not telling what she has been coached to say. The cynic in me doesn't believe much of what politicians and their families say. It certainly applies here.

Murphy Brown 2020 said...

@nunaurbiz -- I DO want to check out that documentary -- and the name of it is weirdly appropriate, I must say.

A few years ago, I attended a wedding and the father and bride danced to a song called "I Saw Her First."

*shudder*

Enty, you forgot to mention the best part—that when Bristol was blathering on, she said that she's not going to have sex again till she marries, so Barbara asked her "but what if you don't get married till you're 30?" Bristol replied that she wouldn't have sex then till she's 30. And she said that with a straight face. Almost died laughing.

@Ida - Ewwww! Seriously? ha ha. That makes Butterfly Kisses seem positively marvelous.

@Felicia - Just curious...where are you getting this information from?

I find that whole family just ridiculous & trashy, but sometimes I wonder about the amount of conspiracy theories.

RJ said...

Ummm, folks, maybe you should have read my comment before calling me a pos. I said "I pray she never finds out what it would actually be like to have a sex act "stolen from her, even she would almost deserve it." What part of this did you interpret to mean that I hope she got raped. I pray she never does. And I said almost deserves it. Emphasis on almost. Damn, people, read every word. I would never think that anyone deserved to be raped. Not even whiney little bitches like Bristol who make a mockery of real rapes when they claim their virginity was "stolen".

RocketQueen said...

RJ, to be fair, "almost deserves to be raped" is still pretty harsh. She's still a human and a mother.

MadLyb said...

It's really hypocritical that she's been designated as the voice of abstinence when she is pretty much one of the worst case scenario's out there. Yet she's making millions. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine America would come to this - be this dumb.

Our kids watch more than they listen, and they're seeing this, and 'Teen Mom' and how sex tapes have propelled talentless people to incredible fame and fortune. OMG.

Dead Angel said...

What is even more sickening is that she made nearly $250,000 dollars last year doing speaking engagements for very right wing groups on "Abstinence" something she never practiced. She became sexually active with her first boyfriend. The entire family are frauds and hypocrites, and shame on the people who hire her to speak, they are ridiculously stupid.

I think you guys meant, "I loved her first" which is from a father to a daughter's groom saying to treat her right, etc. "I saw her first,"is completely different...

i'm sorry, but... track and BRITTA??! ya gotta be effing kidding me. what are the odds?!

I completely understand your disgust with teen mom, but I did read somewhere that teens who watch that show are actually LESS likely to become parents. That is good, right?

Felicia, I am also wondering where your info came from. It doesn't seem like information available to the general public.
