I LOVE Jean Stapleton. I saw her in a production of Romeo and Juliet a billion years ago (she played J's nurse), and she was *fantastic* in it.
Good for Jean, although it would have been nice if she had just been for it all along. But good for her, anyway.
We just got marriage equality in New York State, so maybe Cali will reconsider now that another very populous state went for it.

I went to high school in L.A. with Cloris Leachman's son and with Jean Stapleton's daughter. I would be surprised if these fine women didn't know if/that their kids are/might be gay. I don't know if the kids are gay but the families were very open-minded and loving.
Although, it would seem to be Jean Stapleton.
