Gene Simmons & Shannon Tweed Got Married
Over the weekend, Gene Simmons finally got married to Shannon Tweed. I think he probably decided that he could do it after 28 years together, make a couple of bucks for the show, because it was taped and then get back to his lifestyle which includes seeing as many women as possible. Part of me hopes that he did it because he is in love with Shannon. Most of me thinks he did it because he is afraid of dating of string of groupies for what remains of his life. I also think he thinks that Shannon will not give him as hard of a time now when he goes out with other women because he did actually get married. Most of me is going with this last reason and he wants higher ratings for the show because then the show is on longer and he makes money from that and KISS sells more albums and concert tickets which means he makes more money.

Since Shannon had her facelift (I know, they both did), the way the skin pulls on both sides of her mouth when she smiles, makes her look like the Joker. Her mouth looks exactly like Priscilla Presley's. It's really not flattering.
I still remember the first time I saw a photo of him without the stage makeup....put it back on, PLEASE.
LOL MISCH - I still perceive him as 2 distinctive personalities: the bad-ass rocker, and the disgusting perv. The make-upped rocker is more palatable, pun intended!
Say what you will, he is genius at making money.
I can't even stand watching commercials for this TV show. The whole group just creeps me out.

The tragic thing is that this dude has had some LEGENDARY women in his life (Diana Ross & Cher to name a few). I guess it must be the rumors about his TONGUE and how he is an amazing cunniliguist lol

Shannon was totally gorgeous back in the day, and could have aged into a lovely woman. But if you're with Gene Simmons for that long, dignity probably isn't one of your main character traits...
he's not a bad guy. at the end of the day, he's a musician and she knew what she was getting into...and if she didn't, she's had 25+ yrs to find out...obviously she likes it.
Not a popular opinion but I love their show. His kids and Shannon tease him endlessly about his helmut hair and she makes it very clear all she wants is his money. And yeah, the surgery has made her look like the joker. But honestly I met Gene years ago when I was a receptionist at a record company and he came w/ Paul Stanley to a meeting with the president. He was very nice and down to earth to me and chatted about what he saw on Johnny Carson the night before..Yeah, I know: A LOOOONG time ago.
I remember seeing KISS before hearing them, and when I finally did I was horrified at the crap pouring out of the radio.
And then they took the makeup off. The response was like crickets.
Paul Stanley is so unbelievably homosexual, why he purports to be straight is insanity to me.
Gene Simmons sex tape made me physically ill. God, the t shirt and socks! The flat white ass! The bored look on the woman---it's all burned into my brain, and for that, I will never forgive Gene Simmons.
I like Gene Simmons for his honesty. He has never pretended to be anything than what he is, which is a lot better than you can say about other musicians. I agree with Pookie---Tweed knew what she was getting---no sympathy from me.
I've watched their show a few times, and his kids steal it! Nick is the best! I loved how he made Gene turn ten different shades of red by calling him and his sister "bastards." That was not in the script!
I find Tweed the least appealing. She comes off as hard and fake.
I think this marriage is a combination of time, money, and opportunity.

I've always been under the impression that Shannon knows exactly what she got into and has her own stuff on the side as well.
Now, about her face...seriously. All that surgery and it only made her look older...
I used to think Nick Simmons was really cute (inappropriate, I know), but then he started talking. he should probably just be quiet and pretty.
Ugh, she used to be so pretty. Now she looks revolting :(
