Kanye West's Fashion Line Misses - Blames Everyone But Himself
Kanye West debuted his fashion line in Paris this week and it was a disaster. Even though he says he hired the best of everything, there were obvious flaws in lots of the clothes and looked like a blooper version of Project Runway. Apparently he also had fur in his Spring/Summer line which is a big no no. Not for the fur, but because it should not be a Spring/Summer thing. Everywhere he went in Paris he tried to defend himself and placed the blame on people who thought he was a joke as a designer and were not taking him seriously. Hey, they all came and took a look at least.
Kanye said this was more important to him than music and he was going to change fashion forever with this line. Maybe he should call Lindsay Lohan who holds the previous Paris Fashion Week American record for worst collection ever and they can design some truly memorable crap and go for the world record.

Oh, and he is not a joke as a designer. That is way to narrow of a definition for him. He's just a joke, period.

Good, I'm glad. Anyone still trying to sell fur in this day and age deserves to have their line fail (my opinion only, of course).

Kanye's talented. Does he have an inflated ego? Yeah. But the man has a lot of talent.

Layna, I agree. Musical talent, that is. He kind of sucks at everything else. But, like so much of his douchebaggery, even this godawful collection of "clothes" can't cancel out the glorious "George Bush doesn't care about black people." (That will never get old to me. Never.)

I saw the line-----the models were DRIPPING in furs.
This man deserves to come back as a giant mink that gets skinned over and over again...but in the mean time having his fashion line bomb is a nice start :))
