Christine Ha Becomes First Blind Chef On MasterChef
I spent most of the time last night when Christine Ha was on MasterChef wondering if she was going to hurt herself. In case you didn't watch MasterChef and have no idea what I am talking about, Christine Ha became the first blond contestant to appear on the show. She needs to use a cane when walking or have people guide her. She is from Houston and last night they even had a watch party there to see her on the show. She says she has only ever cut herself once. It's one thing to cook for yourself in your home if you are blind, but it is so much harder to do it in a tv studio where everything is unfamiliar. I was pretty amazed.

Hey I just found out this is a friend of a friend of mine, woohoo! She has NMO, which is a bit similar to MS, but much more severe - instead of wallowing in self-pity she's living fully!
