Blind Item #10

This former A list mostly movie actor was going to be A+ list for sure. He was headed there when he was busted in a raid and was caught wearing women's lingerie. The police decided to just give him a ticket and not book him. A producer found out about it and the word spread around and our actor barely gets much work now. He went from everything to nothing in under a year.

Shia LeBeauf?

Out of all the perversions in Hollywood, a guy in lingerie gets blacklisted? Bunch of hypocrites.

WBotW said...

That's ridiculous. What on earth do his clothing choices have to do with acting ability or onscreen persona?

MISCH said...

That's plain crazy...what's the big deal ?

Hayden Christienson

Shia got other documented issues and actually turn his back to the Hollywood system to go indie.

My guess is Sam Worthington. Avatar, Terminator 4, Clash/Wrath of the Titans.
Now, he has done almost nothing for a year.

I'm gonna guess that the big deal is the raid. They don't raid a place because people wear panties there. They raid it because people are paying for the fucky-fucky.

Erm I thouught his vice was drinking, having his gf's act like little girls and of course his naked mom. Also, I think his downfall was trashing the blockbuster movies he CHOSE to make millions from, never bite the hand that feeds you.. especially in hollywood.

Cathy said...

I was thinking Jake, but apparently he's been working pretty consistently (per IMDB).

Peter said...

Zac Efron? Or is he in production, I'm lazy.

libby said...

If the blind is true, Sam Worthington would be THE guess, imo.

I didn't even know the same guy starred in all those movies. He totally should still be A, and isn't. hmmmm.

Kristin Wigs said...

I'm changing my guess to Orlando Bloom. Outside of The Hobbit lately he seems to be struggling a bit.

I agree with Sam Worthington. And it doesn't say what the raid was for or where it was. I'm feeling like it was something with hookers/underage/really pervy stuff if he was blacklisted over it. Didn't he also have substance issues?

Anonymous said...

cross dressing is no big woop, what was he doing at the place that got raided

tara17 said...

I agree, the blacklisting is probably likely to the raid, not the lingerie.

shortyp333 said...

Sam Worthington has three movies coming out in 2014...

AndrewBW said...

But even if the blacklisting is tied to the raid rather than the women's clothing, what's the big deal? Seriously, what can you get blackballed for in Hollywood these days? About the only thing I can think of is maybe being vocally anti-gay. As far as I can tell even child molesting is pretty much forgivable.

Just Another HR Lady said...

Shia works consistently for someone who is blacklisted. lol Not him.

Personally, I doubt anyone in Hollywood would get blacklisted for anything, most especially a raid involving lingerie, that's nothing in the plethora of other vices. They'll work with anyone who will make them a buck.

Unknown said...

Nah sometimes it gets personal but think more like high school type of pettiness

Super F*cking Awesome Katelyn said...

Definitely Hayden Christensen

PotPourri said...

IT can't be for wearing lingerie. It has to be for maybe his thing is he works as a rent for the night, the danger thing?

NomNom83 said...

I agree with everyone who's already noted that the lingerie -- of all things -- could not be the reason this guy isn't getting work. This is the problem with gossip: by the time some wannabe insider gets in touch with Enty, all the mitigating details have been lost. They heard it from their boyfriend who got it from his buddy whose brother was part of the raid, or at least he claims he was.

As for guesses, I don't know about Sam Worthington (he's been working on Avatar 2 & 3)... not Keanu Reeves, not clive Owen, not Eli Roth, not Jay Baruchel, not Jesse Eisenberg, not Zach Braff...

I give up.

skimpymist said...

I'm insulted that anyone would think shia wears lingerie. He does indie movies now because he felt like a slave to the mannnn.

WTF let him be.

This exact thing (without the acting bit of course) happened to an uncle of mine! His career went downhill w/ that manufacturing meth shit. This was in 1986. He's a trend setter!!! LOL!!! Cops said he answered the door in a g string & pasties....ah the memories.

Sherry said...

Hanna LOL!!! Anyone who answers the door in that get up don't give a shit. Maybe Uncle Underwear was trying to distract them from the bust? No pun intended.

Emile Hirsch

childeroland said...

I don't buy this, unless these people who blacklisted him didn't like him already. Hardnosed producers care about a guy who wears girl underwear. In Hollywood?

Jaiden_S said...

I like the Sam Worthington guess.

I'm also guessing Hayden Christensen. I haven't seen him in a movie since 2010

Val Kilmer. I say that because the thought of him dressed in lingerie makes me regurgitate and I wanted to share the experience with you all.

Hayden is a good guess. At one point he was supposed to be huge.

As for Sam Worthington, there was an interesting tidbit about Sam in "Cosmo" a year or so ago. They used to have a monthly chart ranking famous men of the moment from best to worst. Out of the blue, they ranked Sam last, and wrote, "Don't call us and we won't call you." They did not say why. I wanna find out what he did. It made me wonder if he's a real dick in real life.

Fuck you, Naughtynurse. ;-)

(Pun intended. I actually lol'd at your comment. Your evil runs deep.)

TheGoodRain said...

What about Jude Law? He was in everything and anything for a while there and then just disappeared.

Publicus said...

Tomathia Cruise

Unknown said...

Jude Law and Tom Cruise still have big careers.

Shia didn't turn his back for indy films, he was blacklisted for some reason.

No actor turns that back and does indy films, it's always a crappy excuse that some gullible people believe.

We're talking about an industry that openly supports and and heaps praise upon Roman Polanski, a man who was convicted of drugging and raping a child. Being caught in a raid wearing women's panties would be a badge of honor in most Hollywood circles.

Agree with the Hayden guess.

+1, ditto sexual orientation.

It's not about the cross-dressing, but the police bust situation. I'm guessing said person already was a liability (bad publicity wise) in his personal life for whatever reasons and the bust was just the last straw. My guess is Taylor Lautner. Only 1 project in his future now. And he also fits going from everything (Twilight franchise in 2012) to nothing (1 movie in 2013, in only an uncredited part).

I'm pretty sure Hayden Christianson stopped getting lead roles because he's a talking piece of wood.

Sam Worthington is on cable every 20 minutes in Man on a Ledge. He's a working fool. This must be Chaz Bono

Anonymous said...

Not our Sam! Being an Aussie, he's probably more likely to be going commando. He tends to the left. Samaconda.
Also, I call BS on anyone being blacklisted when John Travolta, Tom Cruise & Roman Polansky are all still able to find work.

Hayden has the acting chops of a cardboard cutout of me in my 2nd grade school play w stage fright and a nasty case of the green apple splatters.

Anonymous said...

Hannah: your uncle sounds like a fucking legend and a worthwhile candidate to get an invite to one of my gourmet (the T is not silent) soirees.

A-fucking-men Tyger!

Angela said...

Hayden Christensen was never going to be A+. He got parts after Star Wars on the sheer strength of being famous due to Star Wars, but it was obvious that once the memory of episodes II and III would get distant, nobody would hire him for his acting chops.

I dropped the name of Sam Worthington because he was almost simultaneously cast as the lead in several franchises: Avatar, Clash of the Titans and Terminator. And there was Man on a Ledge. Most of his films have been big or huge hits, which means he should get even more lead parts in blockbusters given how the system works, but apart from the Avatar sequels, he hasn't got many high profile parts.
Check his imdb listings for his released films and projects after Wrath of the Titans:
Drift (an Australian surf movie released last month in the US)
The Keeping Room (a Civil War drama shot in Romania)
Sabotage (the next Schwarzenegger, third in credits behind Ahnold and Joe Manganiello)
For the Dogs (a thriller)
Thunder Run (co-star with Matthew McConaughey and Gerard Butler)
Avatar 2
But, of course, his temper issues are also a great explanation for his career slump.

Otherwise, there's Taylor Kitsch but his two big budget movies from last year infamously flopped (John Carter, Battleship).
Shia LeBeouf is in the middle of a meltdown and his fall from A-list can be explained without blacklisting due to cross dressing.
Jeremy Renner will be in American Hustle (David O. Russell follow up to Happy Silver Linings), The Avengers 2 and many the Mission: Impossible sequel.

Anyway, I don't think it's any guy from Twatlight, as their fame will fade now that the franchise is over.

He will forever be "uncle underwear"!!! Love IT!!!

lol, Richard Gere. I liked the Bloom guess, but he's doing some Shakespeare on stage right now and that's come back material (even if he's too old to play Romeo)
