STP never got above B-list in my book. Very derivative bunch of poseurs and wanna-bes. They looked the part and acted the part but nothing original. Boring, droning music.

As much as I love 90's grunge and STP, I wouldn't have ever classified them as permanent A list.
I call BS on this. I saw him in concert two weeks ago, and he looks like he is completely off the bad s**t.
I loved STP and had a monster crush on Scott Weiland (what can I say, I have a thing for bad boys who wear eyeliner). I read the autobiography of his first wife, Mary, and walked away really impressed with her. I was hoping Scott had finally cleaned up for good so I hope this reveal isn't true!
So the moral of the story is: Always get the good drugs for your wedding day! Got it!

He used to party it up with RDJ back in the day but I thought Scott was clean (off the heroin anyway). Shit how recent is this blind anyway? This sounds like ancient history. Still love STP & Velvet Revolver (hey he ain't my husband). Anybody stupid enough to marry a Rockstar....well ya shoulda watched Almost Famous first. Shit hasn't changed in Rock 'n Roll since it started and it never will.
Weiland is supposed to be off drugs and several reports appear to support that. I've heard of no troubles between him and his new wife. And I only recently got into STP. I liked "Plush" when it was popular but wasn't into grunge rock. But STP actually had some melodic tunes, the DeLeo guy is a good guitarist an Scott wrote some interesting lyrics.
