cold left over pizza for breakfast amateur
I wish the pizza places where I live knew how to make decent pies with good crusts instead of the Midwest crap they pass off here. The three or four places that make "NY style pizza" aren't very good at it. Papa Johns is close to the best pizza down here.
Degiorno. And just add bacon.
I find it hard to believe that you can't find a morning pizza place in LA. Hell, we have them here in Sacramento. We used to get breakfast pizza delivered to our office all the time.
Don't get out of bed till noon.
We've been doing DeGiorno for a while now at my place. I haven't had crappy Pizza Hut or Dominos in years.
DiGiorno has the extras like breadsticks, wings and even chocolate chip cookies. It's really cheap too.
Now I'm hungry...damn you Enty.
Love cold pizza
Sharing the pepperoni with someone special in bed makes it even yummier :)
I thought you lived in LA. We have breakfast pizza joints in Sacramento.
So does Breakfast Pizza have eggs on it? Ew.
Eggs and usually either sausage or, bacon and/or churrizo.
That was my first thought as well. Enty obviously isn't looking hard enough. If we have them, surely LA does too.
Just buy it the night before and eat it cold the next morning. For extra atmosphere leave a couple dozen empty beer bottles and a couple of ashtrays piled high with cigarette butts and ashes. You'll think you're back in college.
Today is my birthday and I planned ahead: cold, delicious pizza from Luigi's here in Sac. And @Rose Lizenberg: Hello from the 916, to the 916.
Happy Birthday Gladys and keep your nose out of Samantha Stephens business
I was just peeking out the window @sandybrook.
I wish McDonald's served breakfast 24/7
Sandy--where do you live that you have to suffer the likes of Papa Johns--now that stuff is nasty pizza.
We have lots of local joints around here that make an awesome pie--and a place that makes KILLER Greek pizza too--mmm..drooling on keyboard..must get to J&G's soon...
BTW--I'm in Northwest Ohio--so If we can get a good pie here, you HAVE to have a place...lol
Hi Gladys! And happy birthday :)
Happy Birthday Gladys!
Here too. Only Michaelangelo"s does New York style right.
Yeah but I gotta poke @SandyB
He's from NY (I think?) and NewYorkers love a whole different "pie" or "slice".
When I moved there for some years, I almost fell over at what they considered the best pizza. I was NOT impressed, in fact I was DEPRESSED. I kinda get it now, but it's different- from Calif, at least.
Sandy's "Papa Johns" comment grabbed me for a second of sadness, but I remembered his East Coast roots and understood.
Hey, Yo, ya know, New Yorkers don't prefer Cali "pizza" either - they like a thin crust (fresh), simple, "pie". It''s a territorial taste.
Move to Vegas, Enty! You can get pizza anytime! My weekend in Vegas food baby can also confirm this!
Happy Birthday to @Gladys! Have a great day and mangia mangia!!!
My thoughts exactly, MontanaMarriott!
Well i dont. Not for me anyway. My bff in high school cld sit down at 7 am and eat spaghetti and meatballs. I cld barely choke diwn some toast! Guess who was always trying to put on weight and guess whov was always trying to take it off? Lol. Sometimes life not fair.
I often wish breakfast places would deliver.
@SYF: New Yorkers: pizza = San Diegans: burritos. Dammit that's a great GRE question!!!
We are picky as fuck because we do it best and we make sure everyone knows it LOL. It seems like the more north you go from el Mexico way, the shittier it gets. And don't even get me started on Chipotle. I'd rather take a Cali burrito from any shithole named whateverBerto's than step foot in there. Also: this...
Melbourne Fla.
Half the people that live here are from Cleveland and Western Pa lurker girl or Michigan too.
Happy Birthday, Gladys!
Gawd, I love cold pizza! Not egg-y breakfast pizza, though. Blech!
Thanks for the bd wishes. I'm getting to lay in bed, eat cold pizza, hang out with our two doxies, and read gossip blogs. My partner will come home early, we'll go out to a great restaurant for dinner. In a week, we'll go to the Bay Area to see a new modern art exhibit in Palo Alto. Does life get better?
Nope @Gladys, it does not! Hope you have the best day ever!!!
Derek my first thought was cold pizza in the morning too. Gotta be.
Pizza is the best.
Here in Las Vegas you have pizza joints open 24 hours a day and they deliver
You can also have weed legally delivered to your hotel room or residence too..
Viva las vegas baby..
OT Has anyone seen Kathy Griffin's tweet from this afternoon: "Well well well #StephenCollins, looks like u may have finally gotten urself busted after all these years. Jack M, ur next? KG. Followed by: Good God I didn't mean Jack McBrayer.
And cheese. It's a little slice of heaven (and Buffalo Pizza sells ice cream as well. So, really, what's not to love?)
Hope you had a great day Gladys! Get any opals?
Gag, I've had that exactly once (when the Kings were in the play-offs and there wasn't a pizza to be found in Sacramento.) They were two hours late and it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I'd rather have Dominos, which I refuse to have in my house.
