Class Ring Association
Yearbook committee. I had just gotten a new nose and I was determined to be remembered as the post op me and not the pre-op me so I made sure I was in a majority of the pics lol
@FSP Me, too! HA!
I hope Rhysie joins in. I have always been in awe of her ability to wear her class ring from her nipple ring. I wanna party with her! LOL!
Luv ya, Rhysie, Darlin' :-D

The Special People Club
The Happy Hands Club
AND I was a Heather
None at my school..I wanted to be in the drama club but it was by secret vote of those already in the club so I wasn't voted in. I want to add, that looking back at the West Charlotte Wrecking Crew from 1978 not a single one of them went into acting. I wanted to stand on that stage, accepting my Oscar, and thank the WC Wrecking Crew for rejecting me..I am NOT bitter!
There was another club at the local children's theatre that I headed up though so there! (Insert Bronx cheer)
You had to be voted into the Drama Club? How dramatic. At all three of my high schools Drama Club was mostly composed of the kids who didn't run fasted enough when the teacher was looking for sign-ups.
Oh, and those of us that were in the Stage Craft class.
The "Sports Jerks Club." Well, I tried to join but they were too jerky and wouldn't let me join.
Health Occupations Students of America, Theater (I lettered in theater), Latin Club
none i had a job
School newspaper, chorale, library club, school musical (Guys and Dolls and Anything Goes), jv volleyball, varsity lacrosse. Private school nerd type clubs. My school was just like in the 80's movies with many James Spader rich kid stereotypes.
@discoflux-I can still conjugate the verb to be in all the tenses. Latin rules!
Drama club, debate/forensics, FFA!, Yearbook editor
Nothing for more than 2 meetings at most. I dont like organized anything. Makes my asshole twitch. Cue the count in 10...9...8...
The band (clarinet), Yearbook staff then Yearbook Editor, Keyette Club, prefect.
Me too @Harlow. My momma made me start working at a Jamba Juice! I had to serve all the mean girls from my school and came home everyday smelling like bananas and protein boost. But at least I didn't turn out to be an entitled shit, and I have a pretty solid work ethic. Thanks Mom!
Varsity cross country, track, field hockey, basketball, yearbook, quiz bowl, homecoming committee, chorus, senior play
what am I forgetting?
Orchestra, color guard, speech team, math club.
Nothing sponsored by the school because I didn't want to be there one second longer than necessary. So instead I worked part time and also volunteered at the MS Society and at the Challenger Baseball League (a modified little league for kids with disabilities...such an amazing experience!).
DECA - 3 year State Champion and failed miserably in Nationals every year
cheerleading, golf, soccer, gymnastics. Class officer. Community service committee. Environmental committee. Honor society. Talented and Gifted. Local democratic committee.
Just the school newspaper. Other than that, high school was just a nightmare.
I was a Rainbow Girl/Camp Fire Girl/Cheerleader/Baton Squad/Theater/Elite Singers/Ballet.
...forgot...gymnastics.
Unless "f word paper bags" or "drink as much booze as you can" count, I don't think that joining clubs in high school thing is customary here, therefore none.
Swimming.
@Aunt Licky Ha-ha! With all the recent crappy, disgusting news, "a twitchy asshole" is comic relief.
I so hope @Count sees your bat signal. Mind if I sit here with you & wait? Methinks you & I could have a lot of fun. Us children of the 60s & 70s. ;-)

Choir, glee, dance, track, and French Club.
Gay Straight Alliance
Pastry Club
Academic League
Key Club
Ha!@Derek
My Mom used to say I was in every club but the Spanish Club. I was a cheerleader, played volleyball, basketball, marched with the band at parades, I was in the service club, and editor of the school newspaper.
After all of that, I don't want any part of clubs or committees. Too much bitching and criticism. If someone needs help with an event I'll help, but only on my terms.
