Sounds like someone with a drug problem - family and friends are wise for not giving him money, bad for him perhaps because he owes a substantial amount to a dealer.

Transferred? Odd term here and almost a legal quandary for both parties. Was the money a gift or a hold for safekeeping. I like Kanye for this but wouldn't it have said rapper/reality star. Next time use a trust.

I also thought the situation immediately no way is this Kanye West or Ryan Seacrest both might be gay but they are very wealthy. Even Kanye with his money problems is certainly not broke.
What, I use that term all the time! "Transfer funds from savings/earnings account to spending account" or whatever. I believe in America they like to say "wire" money—so if you're American, I get the confusion.
