Besides, it's not like Mimi makes a habit of being a Faux Feminist (like built an entire PR image of being a 'feminist' but then stabs other women in the back when her fans aren't looking or anything).

Don't get me wrong: I'm a fan of both ladies. In fact I knew Thalia before I ever heard my first Mariah song because our nannies/maids used to watch telenovelas. Both have a special place in my black, black heart. 🖤
I'm not taking sides or defending anyone. I'm just saying that people should be allowed to have feeling, even still have feelings for an old ex.
I know some people are able to be emotionally-mature and even co-parent with their ex's new spouse, but it's really unfair for people to be bashed for refusing to do so. And it's a mark of an unhealthy society when a person has negative feelings toward their ex's new spouse is labelled a "misogynist" (do I hate all women if I dislike my ex's wife, or that one coworker who's subtly bitchy to me when she thinks nobody else notices? It doesn't even make sense, it's not all women).
The best feminists I know are first and foremost humanists.
The ones that like to be seen at rallies and publicly take up feminist causes can be very, very mean to other women... I've seen some engage in asymétrique "wars" against other women (when one with a verified account/access to a public platform/fanbase will attack/subtweet a complete nobody—it's not an equal/fair-and-square fight, and someone who truly believes in equality would never engage in that).
Mariah and Thalia are equals, IMO. Of course I'm sure Mimi would like to think Thalia is a "nobody", but to me, they're equals. Mimi, I love you, but it's true: You're equals and I love you both. 💕
Meh, I'll cut Mariah some slack. God knows how many people come and introduce themselves to her, she cannot possibly remember all, especially as she is somewhat impaired by champagne. I will always love her for her antics - like exercising in high heels, trash-talking her coop board in that old MTV cribs episode or riding a scooter in Vegas instead of walking. I choose to believe she is a sweet lady

I can't believe people are giving her a hard time for doing this to the new woman her ex married. That's like first-degree personal, let her have her feelings and act on them like a human being.
I don't feel like I'm obligated to like my ex's one coworker who's subtly bitchy/cock-blocking to me when she thinks fans don't notice (and that's my ex's fakeass coworker, not even someone who works with ME personally).
I mean what do people expect Mimi to do? Invite Thalia in for dinner and start going on shopping trips with her? People have insanely insane unrealstic expectations of their fellow human beings.
