Why would she go besides publicity? She doesn't do music, doesn't really hang out with musicians without Taylor.

Enty says they had a bad breakup. A chunk of Kaylors believe it. Who the hell knows? Taylor's done the best job ever keeping things quiet and Karlie is 'engaged'.
no it's not the bad breakup that would have kept them from not being allowed at the same time. Regardless of if people think they dated the entire world knows they went from being inseperable to barely friends, with even that being a stretch.
Everyone believes that something caused their friendship to fall apart and that there's bad blood (pun fully intended tbh).
If Taylor went, it would be the first time in years that her and Karlie were seen at the same event. They can't be seen in public together, because the whole world would be commenting on it, if they didn't interact people would say they had a falling out. And if they were there together, while they are supposed to have male significant others - Joe Alwyn, and Josh Pukner, everyone would wonder what is going on. Until they have shed their beards and can come out to the world together, they won't be seen in public together.
So Taylor wasn't going, perfect time for Scooter to have two of his clients interact together! Yay! Such a coincidence, Karlie and Ariana, two newly engaged celebrities, that just HAPPEN to be managed by the same man.
Taylor's probably just jealous that Karlie is going for a man right now.
Sometimes when two people bury a dead hooker together it brings them closer, other times it drives them apart.

Taylor spoke out in a big way in support of Ruby Rose becoming Batwoman, so maybe she's her new fling.
I don't think anyone will be jealous of a girl marrying into a criminal family. Maybe that is your thing.
