Obviously it depends on the quality of the "tip". If it is some anonymous person saying "Plot has kiddie porn on his laptop" click, then no there is no probable cause to obtain a search warrant.
But if your gay lover calls with a tip: "My Boyfriend Plot who I have lived with for X years has Kiddie porn on his computer in his home office, and it makes me sick!" Guess whose home office and laptop is going to legally get searched???

Another know nothing pops up. A lawyer calling information into the police that he obtained in the course of his work with other clients, would definitely meet the threshold for probable cause, your personal bias against ENTY would have nothing to do with it.
Besides you morons don't even know if the suspect gave permission for the search when police showed up and asked and negated any discussion of whether the threshold had been met or not. (You would be shocked how often they do, thinking they hid their stash well enough that the "dumb cops" will never find it.)

Is this not what I said? Did I not explain myself? Images would have to be witnessed by the tipper or actual behavior.
The best scenario is if the FBI noticed it on his computer after obtaining a warrant to monitor the computer. The latest raid would be a result of that. Actually, thinking about it...the prior acts of Tekashi might be enough to get a warrant for computer monitoring, I don't really know, but it might.

I think some ARE real. I tend to trust less his more legal or policing blinds. Sometimes I think he has a half truth going on, either because he is a good guesser or he does have a source who kinda knows what is going on.

The courts have ruled that ANY search or seizure absent a warrant or exigent circumstances is unreasonable.
Whatever the source of the information, SOMEBODY has got to swear, under penalties of perjury to FIRST HAND knowledge of the facts, or the judge shouldn't (but often does) sign the warrant. The warrant actually is the affidavit of probable cause, and the judge merely confirms that the facts sworn to in the affidavit constitute probable cause.
IOW, if the state is going to do something that would otherwise be a trespass, like rummage through your stuff or kidnap you to a cell, SOMEBODY has to have some "skin in the game", i.e., swear under penalties of perjury.
