Caddies in the PGA typically get 5% and up to 10% for a win, and that's on top of a base salary of $1K/month or more. So this could describe the standard arrangement for any top golfer whose girlfriend has caddied a tournament for him, which isn't terribly unusual.

Tiger only started 'dating' her a year ago so the part of the blind about a 'years ago' agreement is off. It it is them then blind poorly written.
