Cannot imagine what it must be like to live in a room for years and not be able to leave. Read there are plans afoot to move him to Russia. I wouldn't last a month under those circumstances. He must be incredibly disciplined.

CC: I know! I forgot the film in which Cummerbund plays Assange but he WAS Assange! He looked so much like him I forgot it was an actor playing him. Before I retired I worked on a lot of the interviews about him for US television as a media transcriber. Didn't know if he did the crime at that time but I have to wonder why he would choose to live like this if he was innocent. If I was Assange I would have fought for my reputation in court. But then, I'm dumb as a box of hair and would have lost.
There are probably several major countries that would like to see Assange dead. If he did go to jail, he'd be killed, easily. The charge he's been accused of in Sweden is sketchy. And it's not for being a whistle blower. It's obviously a political thing.

@HushHush - right? If there's any place ANY criminal wants to be it's Sweden... our government treats rapists like they're the victims. I can't imagine that's what he's hiding from.
