If Lewis is gay I think it's understandable he wouldn't come out whilst still driving. F1 has races in so many countries that criminalizes being gay or have very homophobic governments, every time he raced in Bahrain ,China, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Russia, Brazil and Abu Dhabi the questions would be about his sexuality or about LGBT rights and he'd be in a lose lose situation, either criticised for being too political or not caring about the persecution of the LGBT community. He's already the poster boy for black drivers in F1 so I can understand if he doesn't want to be the poster boy for gay drivers because he is all business on race weekend's and doesn't want the distraction.
