I also feel like, thanks to surgery, kardashians and trend of makeup tutorials on contouring, there's a plastic-y "pretty" look that's over-saturated to the point of making the overdone not even register. More and more, I think beauty is in the uniqueness that so many of these gals are erasing by one means or another.
