Blind Item #8 - Golden Globes

This foreign born B list actress who would keep dropping if not married to someone higher on the list had a half dozen handlers she said were necessary. There were none for her husband. Most people, including the biggest stars on the planet had one handler.

TMZ just published Epstein autopsy/death scene photos. Blechh.

Sure looks like a wire was used and not bed sheets. Someone didn't kill himself :)

Can someone please explain what Enty means by “handler?” That word has negative connotations for me.

Salma Hayek?

TW- handler = someone who wrangles the dress, holds the purse, clears the pathway, etc.

When you see a red carpet event - all the folks there in ugly outfits with sensible shoes, clipboards and earpieces/phones that are usually ushering celebs by the arm... those are handlers. They do everything from security to wiping asses. Yes, really.

Thank you CDAN community!

They should be called something else. I don’t want to open the can of conspiracy worms so I’ll stop there.

Zebra and Tierney-- excellent job descriptions!

This definitely sounds like Priyanka!

Thanks, Vita :)

T.W. - I don't see why 'handlers' would be an issue. I'm guessing it comes from the idea of wrangling zoo/circus animals, which when you think of it, isn't far off the mark when talking about celebrities.

Wouldn't be surprised if Prick has a full-time handler devoted to just wiping her ass. Crazy bitch thinks she's a maharajah's wife.

Princess Pryanka sure is insecure.

Delusions of grandeur.

Eh, I dunno. I mean, it sucks if that term has bad vibes for you, but it's got so many uses and definitions (for decades) that have nothing to do with the C.I.A, so the word itself is pretty innocuous.

@Tierney

I just wanted to know what Enty meant by handlers. That is all.

Anyone see the 60 min piece on Epstein. Gag.

Tierney said...

No problem, T.W. - you brought the other stuff up, so I responded. It's all good.

She was dressing for the job she wants, not the job she has. Then again if she can fool people that she has a real marriage maybe she's ready for her next bearding challenge.

Okay

In this case just someone managing appearance, belongings, path, and generally fluttering around the apparently VERY important person XD

That is one thirsty woman. I loved it when the camera's would pan to Martin Scorsese and all they would show would be Chopra's boobs. No face, just boobs.

"Handler" also means the person that stays in contact with (the real power) behind the scenes, and tells these witless celebs how to think/act, what to say, when to smile, and what popular communist political causes to foolishly champion.

Handler, noun, Puppeteer of poor celeb schlub that signed his/her freedom away for fame.

"The celeb was about to reveal too much, but the Handler stepped in and told them to shut up."

I thought Pryanka and Jonas looked like they were in love last night. Maybe they are growing into each other. If Jonas can pay for her handlers, who is anyone to complain?

Priyanka is usually b+ or higher on the list. This is Rose Leslie.

I'm thinking a few of them were friends/assocs she insisted were necessary so they could attend.
Pretty tricky! Surprised they allowed it. New rule forbidding more than 2 in 3...2...1...

Nick Jonas is willing to pay for as many handlers as neccessary so he doesn't actually have to touch Priyanka himself.
