The Full Ferris Bueller Commercial

I have been waiting five days to actually watch the commercial. I felt like Ferris was such a big part of my life that I really wanted to savor the feeling of watching Ferris all grown up. I have to say it made me sad. There is no joy and no love. Ferris is alone with no friends and looks dead inside. Did Jennifer Grey and Charlie Sheen end up with the happy ending and Ferris is the guy who never grew up? Now I wish I had not watched. Thanks Honda.

Cancer Survivor Suspended For Wanting To Donate Hair To Locks Of Love

JT Gaskins had leukemia as a child. He survived. One of his close friends did not. JT is 17 years old and decided he wanted to grow his hair long and then donate it to Locks Of Love. A great and noble idea and something everyone should do at least once in their life. If I was actually capable of growing more than a hair or two which I twist and form into big circles to make it appear I have hair, I would follow JT's example. Well, school administrators in Michigan are not supporters of Locks Of Love and suspended JT for 3 days because his hair was too long. JT refused to cut his hair but he and his mother came up with alternatives. The school was having none of it and has suspended JT indefinitely until he cuts his hair. There are 33,000 names on a petition on change.org supporting JT's goal.

V/H/S Got The Publicity They Wanted

Have you heard of the movie V/H/S? Probably not. It was a midnight screener during Sundance. Chances are you would never have heard of it except that at the midnight screening the first night it was shown someone got up and left because they said the movie was too traumatic to take. A little blip on the publicity radar but not much. So, the next night in what producers say was not staged, but I believe them about as much as I believe that Paris Hilton is a virgin. Anyway, at the second screening a guy got up and said he was dizzy and staggered out. Lo and behold the next person to leave was his girlfriend who said she barely made it to the bathroom before vomiting. Uh huh. Suddenly everyone wants to watch the movie and the $1M investment that Magnolia made in buying it seems like it was well worth it and they will get their money back.

Nadya Suleman Says She Didn't Know She Was Going To Have 8 Kids

On Sunday, Nadya Suleman did another one of her chat shows. In it she called her 8 youngest children pieces of poop, but I think she was referring to their bathroom habits and having to deal with all their poop rather than her feelings towards them. What I found most interesting if you can call any time you spend watching Nadya interesting is when she said that she did not know she was going to have eight babies and that she signed some form under serious medication and did not know it was a double transfer and that she is the victim here in all of this. Somehow she said 12 embryos were transferred instead of six and she said something about how she was told none of the first six made it so they were hoping for one baby out of the second six, but instead, somehow she ended up with 8. Her math seems fuzzy.

She did admit she was wrong to have IVF after already having six children so she is making progress here. Small steps, but progress.

A.J. Lamas Has A Temper And A Drinking Problem

I know it is the Lamas women that usually get the tabloid attention, but Lorenzo's son, AJ is being accused by his ex-girlfriend of breaking into her house and terrorizing her before stealing a bottle of booze. According to TMZ, Jessie Schulman (a former bff of Lindsay Lohan) filed for a restraining order after AJ came over to her house at 2am. She was enjoying some alone time with her new boyfriend and told AJ to go away. Instead he broke into the house. For some reason the new boyfriend did nothing while AJ tried to wrestle Jessie into the bathroom so they could talk. Jessie managed to get him to leave but before he left, AJ stopped by the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of booze. I hope it was the freezer, because there is not much good booze you keep in the refrigerator proper. Maybe some white zin? Box wine? Hey, I am not slagging on box wine. There have been many a night I have managed to consume an entire box. Not some of my prouder moments. Wine and I do not get along at all.

Jennifer Lopez Leaves Marriage Open So Tabloids Will Watch Her

You know what Jennifer Lopez loves most in this world? I hope her kids, but after that I'm pretty sure it is being on the cover of magazines every week. You know how you do that? You find yourself a boyfriend and keep open the option that you would be willing to get married again and have babies again. AngistonJ have this down to a science and that is why you see their photos on covers most often. Jennifer knows her acting career is being kept alive by some guy who stays up late at night blowing on two embers in a fireplace hoping for a piece of coal and her music career is being propped up by a deck of cards and companies willing to pay for rights to her songs. So, tabloids are necessary and when she was on the Today Show yesterday morning and Letterman last night it was all about the tease. She is barely out of her marriage and she is already willing to say she might get married again. Please.

Cynthia Nixon Changes Her Mind About Being Gay By Choice - Kind Of

Apparently having the entire LGBT community come down on you over your words was too much for Cynthia Nixon to bear so she changed her mind about being gay by choice and now says she is in a relationship with a woman by choice because she could be with a man by choice because she is bisexual which is not a choice. Actually, she said some other things to the Advocate too, but I don't really understand what she was doing except trying to keep her remarks intact while not making others angry at her and most of it now seems like a big convoluted vocabulary mess. It also seems like she is still saying that some people do have a choice if they are gay or straight. Let the woman speak her mind.

"My recent comments in The New York Times were about me and my personal story of being gay. I believe we all have different ways we came to the gay community and we can't and shouldn't be pigeon-holed into one cultural narrative which can be uninclusive and disempowering. However, to the extent that anyone wishes to interpret my words in a strictly legal context I would like to clarify:

"While I don't often use the word, the technically precise term for my orientation is bisexual. I believe bisexuality is not a choice, it is a fact. What I have 'chosen' is to be in a gay relationship.

"As I said in the Times and will say again here, I do, however, believe that most members of our community — as well as the majority of heterosexuals — cannot and do not choose the gender of the persons with whom they seek to have intimate relationships because, unlike me, they are only attracted to one sex.

"Our community is not a monolith, thank goodness, any more than America itself is. I look forward to and will continue to work toward the day when America recognizes all of us as full and equal citizens."

Brandi Glanville Says Lisa Vanderpump Attack Was Planned By Other Wives

Brandi Glanville gave an interview to LynnNChicago and in the interview said that prior to the reunion show, all the wives with the exception of her, Camille and the one Brandi says does meth all got together and decided they would gang up on Lisa Vanderpump at the reunion. Lisa had no idea she would be sandbagged. It is nice to know Brandi is not shy about expressing her opinions. Think about it. She said the meth line and she was the first to call out Taylor Armstrong. She just does not take crap from anyone and the other wives probably did not call her to attack Lisa, because Brandi seems pretty upfront and honest about her feelings and she likes Lisa and Lisa likes her and Brandi seems pretty loyal. She is not the one who went and cheated in her marriage.

Rumer Willis Parties While Demi Moore Is In Hiding

Over the weekend Rumer Willis made sure she lived up to the Willis/Moore family name and did some partying at some SAG after parties. Meanwhile, depending on who you believe, Demi Moore is either in rehab which is where she should be. Or, if you go for the wilder side of tabloids she is being treated by aliens who have called in Dr Batboy to examine her closely. Some other tabloids say she is receiving spiritual counseling and Kirstie Alley keeps using every media opportunity to talk about how Demi is one of her bestest friends and you can tell that Kirstie would probably give up smoking for a month, ok, maybe a week if Demi came over to the dark side of Scientology for her treatment. I hope Demi did not give Kirstie her phone number. "Yes, I know you are going through a tough time right now, but for just $3500 a day I can get you in a detox that will work wonders. Oh, and for an extra $2500 a day I can get you on my diet program. I call it cigarettes and starving."

Barbara Walters Says She Won't "Pay" For Interviews

Barbara Walters got on her high horse on The View yesterday and rambled on about how the rumors she is willing to pay for an interview with Pippa Middleton are false and that ABC News never pays for interviews. She then said Oprah might pay for interviews because she is not a network and kind of ran Oprah over with a bus and then took another dig at her as she made sure all four wheels hit Oprah by making it clear that she felt Oprah's network was lesser than Barbara's network.

Let me be very clear. Until six months ago, ABC News paid for tons of interviews. Tons. They just hid it by calling the payments licensing fees. In fact, Barbara your network paid $200K to Casey Anthony back in 2008. As recently as this past summer, ABC paid money to the man who found Caylee Anthony's body and paid money to several women who had relationships with Anthony Weiner.

Oh, and Barbara, you might want to talk to the head of ABC News because he said that payments might still happen if approved by top managers. Huh. So why don't you get off your high horse and tell the truth about paying for interviews and not make it seem like you are not just a tabloid like the rest of them. At least they are honest about paying for interviews.

Simon Cowell Fires Paula Abdul - Again

For the second time in as many shows, Simon Cowell has fired Paula Abdul. Oh sure, he has some deniability for what happened on American Idol, but if he had gone to the producers and said give her what she wants, which was way way way way way less than Simon was making, they would have given it to her. He did not. She was gone and Idol went on its downward spiral. Yesterday at X Factor, Paula was told she would not be coming back for Season 2. Nicole Scherzinger was fired too, although she is allowed to say she is leaving to focus on her music career. I want you to think about that for a second. Why would Nicole willingly give up millions of dollars a year to sit in a chair where she still has time to work on her music for the chance to earn probably way less than millions and have to work full-time and more to do it. Yeah. Steve Jones is gone too. The only people not gone are Simon Cowell (because the low ratings are never his fault) and LA Reid because you really do not want to make LA Reid mad. I guess this is Olivia Munn's second chance to get that hosting job her manager screwed her out of last year.
