The Problems With The "Of Love" Shows On VH-1
I noticed today that Cocktail from Ray J's show called "Compete With Other Women To Have Sex With Ray-J And Make Your Parents Proud" shared with the world that she and Ray-J are no longer together. Then, in what must be considered one of the greatest coincidences of all time, VH-1 announced a second season of Ray-J's show. Wow, how fortunate is that for VH-1 and Ray-J? I'm stunned.
I thought for sure that someone named Cocktail could for sure settle down with a player and sex tape trafficker of the caliber of Ray-J. I figured by now they would be married and be about to have a baby. Speaking of babies. Congratulations Kendra Wilkinson!! I guess it turns out it she did get the new boobs I commented on but they were natural enhancements.
Anyway, this is the problem with Have Sex With Bret Michaels, Have Sex With Flava Flav and Have Sex With Ray-J. There is no incentive for any of the male stars to stay with the stripper they pick. If they stay with the stripper then they don't get a second season of the show. They miss out on money and publicity and having sex with women that a Fortune 500 company provides them. If they stay with their chosen person they end up sitting in front of the television and watching some other almost/formerly/semi-kind of famous having sex and getting paid for it. Hey, isn't that prostitution?
They just will not give that up and so no matter how much they pretend and no matter what they say at the end of the season when they pick someone, it is all a lie.
Cocktail admitted as much in what she wrote today. "As for the tour we just did and ‘acting’ like we were together, it comes with the show."

You're missing out. Rock of Love is the hottest mess on the planet. They'll never top that wreck.
So corporations figured out a way to not only make prostitution legal, but they film it and put it on T.V. too - nice.

Me, neither. It's almost as if these people are saying, "look, I can get laid, and have people make asses out of themselves in order to get their faces on tv and get laid by me."
Guess what? We can all get laid if we're not picky about who we do it with.
I'm shamed to admit I watched part of an episode of Charm School, to see what it was all about. I am so embarrased for those women. They should be embarrased for themselves, but they're not.
ok i watched both Tila Tequila shows...omg those poeple are such trash! it was a slice of 60 min heaven.
I admit that I watched all of the Rock of Love shows. I couldn't decide who disgusted me more--Bret Michaels or the women who were begging to f**k him. Gross. And fascinating in that sick, twisted kind of way.
I am stunned, though, absolutely flabbergasted, that all the emotions displayed are FAKE. I would never have guessed that they were there for anything other than love. Money and fame probably never occurred to any of the participants, male or female.
I don't know why they bother pretending that they really want to be with the people they pick. I thought people only watched it to see how far women would embarrass themselves to "win".
I've never seen these shows either because I know only the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows are real.
Kara, I think that's why I like Daisy so much - it's nice watching a group of men make total asses/whores of themselves.
I know it's bad~ but how I adore "Rock o' Love"~ trashy broads at their finest.

I watched an ep. of Flava's and told the friend I was watching it with. "I bet these women's parents are soooo proud."
I never thought it was for a Love Connection they were there.Unless you mean love of money or one most likely to be a famewhore.
