Christina Aguilera Goes On Double Date - Her Date Hides
Apparently either Matthew D Rutler does not want the world to know he just went on a double date with Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie/Joel Madden or Christina is trying to keep it a big secret. After the foursome ate dinner on Saturday night, Matthew, who worked on Burlesque, was hiding beneath a blanket as Joel drove away from the restaurant. How much does that suck that you go out to dinner and then have to hide beneath a blanket when you leave.

I think they hide because that makes the picture seem more interesting to the tabloids. Forbidden some how when it's really just mundane. And we all fall for it just the same.
looserdude makes a good point. If Matthew D worked on Burlesque with Christina, couldn't he just say that it was a work related dinner? Or that they had become friends during filming. He just wants attention.

She's so vile. Either she's doing this to stir up interest in her career via paps, or she's fucking this guy, or she's putting out a hetero smokescreen for the Ronson rumors. She's disgusting and a liar in all versions and nothing else is plausible given her grin and shoving her arm back to 'protect' him.
She had someone she loved enough to marry, and this is her public behavior very soon after divorcing. She's such a sad asshole.

Even in a crowd of similarly crazy, worthless people, there is nothing she wouldn't do, and no one she wouldn't hurt to get ahead.

@ Pookie - from all accounts Xtina is a selfish, nasty, vindictive bitch who will stop at nothing in her climb for stardom. Even her own family members (a cousin I believe) have spoken out about how ambitious and cut-throat she is.
