OH HELL NO Antonio Villaraigosa will not be President. He is a snake, a complete and utter snake. I would vote for Pat Buchanan before I would vote for Antonio. I worked in the Assembly when he was speaker. His Executive Assistant had a parking spot underneath the building. NO staff people had one down there, so why did she? Because she was his on call 24/7 booty call, that's why. He is slimy, and the only reason he has any type of political career is because he is Latino and he sucked up to a very powerful group of people early on and they got him elected. He is basically a used car salesman. Just gross.

I concur with the Eva/Tony V. guesses. I also agree with anti-Villaraigosa sentiment. He is an awful mayor. LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE had him on the cover under the banner "failure." LA will probably have to declare bankruptcy in 2013 because of his dealings with unions and developers. The date is significant because the bills for his actions come due after his term is over.
He is the co-chair of the Dem convention solely because he is Latino. The pandering is off putting but the choice of Tony V is insulting. ( A radio station I listen to calls him Antonio Villara goes here, Villara goes there alluding to the fact that he is rarely in LA.

His marriage ended when he was caught in a Kristen Stewart like situation--and it was an affair that had gone on for some time. The mistress was a newscaster at a local Spanish language tv station.
Someone above mentioned his made up name. Mr. Romantic changed his name when he married. His original last name was Villar but he merged it with his wife's last name when they married.
Oh yeah, the Spanish newscaster. Probably teaching him the language. He has been criticized for years because he wasn't bilingual and his attempts to speak Spanish were just laughable. Ugh, he is such a snake. Other snakes refuse to associate with him.

Eva is fashioning herself as a political commentator. She was on CNN or some station commenting about immigration and Mitt Romney. She's been doing a lot lately. Actually, compared to most other celebrities, she's astute and seemingly prepared for the topic at hand. She's not like MD and the rest who seem to fumble their way through and interview. She did a great job.
I can't comment about Villaraigosa because I don't know much about him. I read his bio on wikipedia and it definitely casts lots of shade on his chances of rising above his current station as mayor. Hopefully she is with him because a connection is there and he is her "soulmate". If not, I'd hitch my wagon to another star.

You're fabricating the thing about the parking space if you worked in the leg., which I doubt. You sound like a Reep.
I was in Sacto in those days and knew tons of staff and lobbyists, including more than a few who worked with Tony. Yes, he was a known horndog, but so were most of the legislators. You know that many of the women Reep legislators fooled around too, right?
