This famously sober B+ list celebrity/reality star/network show and mom isn't as sober as she wants the world to believe. What was just having a drink or two again after several years of sobriety has turned into snorting a variety of drugs. No more heroin for her but she does love hillbilly heroin and is now spending several hundred dollars a day on it.

Didn't everyone assume that she has been constantly doing meth and coke and heroin and Oxy and Hydros while smoking pot and hammering the booze? Did anyone think she was sober, or care if she lived? Serously, she's the worst celeb ever. She's "Paris" bad.

OxyContin crushed and snorted. Big here in KY, until the pill mills shut down now the dopers have moved on to heroin and are dropping like flies.

Can you imagine how much OxyContin abuse adds to the cost of health insurance? All the repeated Dr. visits, the scripts, the tests for non existent injuries.
If enough people switch to smack, maybe the costs will come down.
BTW: have you seen what injecting oxy into the veins actually does? I still have a few Oxy from surgery and I'm saving those babies for a rainy day.
Nichole has been looking heroin-chic skinny again lately...
I had a friend who was a hardcore Oxy addict but he never slammed it. Just snorted and smoked it. Then moved on to heroin after blowing through 10k. Last I heard he was sober but it took high-cost inpatient treatment, wilderness camp and a sober house in LA to get there.
I never got why they call it hillbilly heroin as my understanding is that it's much more expensive than black tar.
@Tori: Because there aren't many smack dealers in Bumfuck, Pennsyltucky, but they have CVS everywhere.

Awwww Nic. I know she has a horrid past, & may even be a terrible person, but she comes across as so fun and likable that I cant help but to feel....nah...fuck her! lol. She's rich. Beautiful. beautiful family. Throwing it all away for drugs. Why cant she just smoke pot and call it a day? I didn't ever believe she was sober. Only cutting back.

OMG oxyCODONE and oxyCONTIN are two different drugs. Cracks me up when people say they have Oxys and think they're all fucked up and all they're taking is a 5mg generic Vicodin.

Joel was caught with drugs in Australia. I always thought he played a big part in Nicole getting clean. There were blinds on BG about a year ago suggesting their marriage was over.

It's Nicole. She's skin and bones lately and Oxy(CONTIN not CODONE!) kills your appetite. Some of these Hollywood chicks add a little Adderall to the mix and they don't have to eat for days.
This is bad news. She could be heading for an OD. I was prescribed that drug once after an emergency surgery. I literally lost my mind. I took one pill and flushed the rest; the doc told me never to take that drug again (some people just can't take it.)
Wish now I'd saved the pills and sold 'em -that would've been about $3000 left in that bottle!
Oxycontin is often referred to as Hillbilly Heroin because coal miners and other manual laborers often get hurt on the job. They still need to work because they are hourly employees, so they get prescribed oxy, get addicted, etc. These are the origins...it's evolved since then.
Oxycontin and oxycodone are technically the same medication. The difference is -contin is a controlled-release drug (with several doses' worth of -codone) that doesn't have to be taken every four or so hours.
The bug/feature is a person can disable the coating so they get all that medicine in one swoop. The drug company years ago talked about changing the coating, making it harder to disable, but no idea if this ever happened.
