Evan Ross's father, Arne Nesse, was supposedly a multimillionaire. Didn't he leave something for Evan and his brother? (You never hear anything about the brother, who's first name is Ross. Wonder what he does?) Anyway, Jessica has plenty of money to take care of all these losers. She probably loves doling out the checks.

If Evan had a lick of gumption (or intelligence) he could be making millions in his father's businesses or through connections, like his brother. Nesse died so suddenly that both those boys could have stepped in and filled the gap, protecting the fortune. I suspect Evan's brother (Ross?) has him on a tight leash and won't give him any funds that aren't specified in the will. Good thing. Evan is an idiot.

Meaning Evan Ross doesn't have the money people think, so he and Ashlee are on Jessica's payroll. Jessica is freakin' loaded.

Diana and Nesse were divorced when he died. She didn't receive any pay out from his death. I'll have to research what his wealth was.
I'm astounded that Jessica is so wealthy. Hey it's probably skewed high to make her look good. But her clothes and shoes are crap, plastic crap, bad designs too. Who wears her shit? I've seen it all over the discount retailers.

Okay, with the name Naess, not Nesse, he did lose money in the '90's by investing in a pyramid scheme (which might mean Diana didn't get a whole lot in their divorce in 1999.) Still, he was a major investor in Tandberg Data and that keeps churning out money. He had three older children, from his first wife, so whatever his inheritance it was split five ways. Still, I think the little Ross-Naesses are doing just fine, under normal circumstances. Evan probably just doesn't want to work a normal job and it's talented enough to break into Hollywood as a star (or a regular on a good TV show.)
