That's a great guess. My only concern is he wrote sibling (singular) and not siblings (plural) because Alana has both brothers Chris and Danny that are actors. It would make sense for her to be closeted since she is a Scientologist, though.

Yes, Mamie's had a lead role on "almost network" CW ("Emily Owens, MD") and was recurring on "The Good Wife", so it's arguable her acting career has been higher profile than cable-only Gracie.
Ironically enough, it was *Mamie* who pinged my gaydar when she went to the ASW relaunch event in Morocco a few years back. She and Zoe Kazan were fairly joined together, it appeared:
