This foreign born former franchise actress turned A- list mostly movie actress tried harder this week to be more friendly to the press. To some degree it worked, although she still cut several short when she didn’t like the questions. Her team told her she needs to do a 180 after her last few press runs for movies because studios can always find someone else.

I am not sure why she has to be so prickly? She has one franchise and a few films under her belt but her total output is less than impressive. I guess I don't mind a Diva who can actually walk the walk (Patty LuPone for example) but besides all the lip service show me you are worthy of the 'tude.

Eh. She's young and idealistic. Lots of people go through a "know-it-all self-righteous I-know-how-the-world-should-work" phase in their 20s, they just usually do it in college. LOL
Her edges should soften as she ages and matures a bit.
So true. She is a terrible actress, she can't open a picture and she should be endlessly grateful she was cast as Beauty; B&TB succeeded in spite of her presence and she was the worst-reviewed element of it.
Promotion is part of the job, if you don't play the game they will drop you.

Why does she get roles in the first place? She's a terrible actress and can't carry a movie. And she's hard to work with.
I'm not convinced she's a completely terrible actress (although her lack of singing ability totally ruined B&TB for me), there are certainly worse out there getting parts. She's only 27, has an ivy league degree, and hasn't been knocked in the teeth by life yet. Hopefully she'll figure it out before she ruins her career.

With all the horrible gossip about men abusing women, these commentators want blood from a woman who is considered end prickly. Well at least she has more money (and power) than any of you.
Oh please. Those who allegedly abuse people actually DO attract the venom they deserve here. Everyone is equal and therefore women will rightly be criticized for their shitty behavior just as men will be. The 'but she's only a woman' argument isn't a defence.
LuPone is a Diva to those she works with. She plays the PR game pretty well. Emma doesn't do the promotion bit very well.
