James Franco...this probably means he's not going to be exposed anytime soon.

Like maybe post this list where you click on it if you want to read it. It takes up the whole damn screen.

Franco was at Jimmy Kimmel's show a week ago, promoting movie like nothing happened. Hopefully everything will surface soon, when he will least expect it.

lol +1 Barbara. Someone went a bit overboard with their formatting this morning.

No love for the last season of The Leftovers (especially Carrie Coon)? And no love for neither Wonder Woman nor Logan. I hate when they overlook great stuff.

These are a joke. Anything that doesn't even nominate 'Twin Peaks' is just absurd.

Kyle MacLachlan got a Twin Peaks nod.

@Florin - totally agree about The Leftovers...one of the best shows ever with some of the best acting I've ever seen. Such a travesty.

These noms are all over the place! I'm glad Jason Bateman got some recognition for Ozark, I think that series was under-appreciated.

Love that Rachel Brosnahan got a nom, I just commented on another post, that the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is brilliant comedy. and i usually HATE comedy.
Husband and I enjoyed the Leftovers for 2 seasons, when they moved to wherever it was, they lost us both. Never got back into it.
I did the same for Mr. Robot as well, the 1st two seasons were incredible, but then they just lost me. Though Ramek is amazing as is Christian, but I have been a fan of his since watching a movie that was then called "Gleaming the Cube" They changed the name for some reason of that movie later.
I have not seen any of the movies on the best nom list, none, OH wait, i take that back, I saw a bit of Dunkirk and I do plan to see the Greatest Showman and probably the Post at some point. I also really want to see the Florida Project, I also grew up in the shadows of Disney during its building and opening.

I want to see "Three Billboards," it looks great. I saw "Disaster Artist" yesterday and really don't understand why it's getting so much buzz. It's like a dramedy except it wasn't funny. It had a few moments, but I thought it was really unremarkable.

"Victoria and Abdul" and "Battle Of The Sexes were both fabulous and I hope Judi and Steve get nommed for Oscars.

Im worried the expose about franco will never drop. That theres been enough payoffs where he can 'enjoy' his award season campaign.

somebody out there, prove me wrong. its been too quiet.

Christian Slater nominated again for Robot????? He already HAS a GG for the show. Im still upset Rami Malek doesnt have a GG.

Speaking of Rami Malek, even if theyve kicked Bryan Singer to the curb and had that other guy fill in, they 1) per DGA rules, have to have the new director (re)shoot MORE than Singer shot for Singer's name to not be the Director's (only majority directed makes The Director credit). AND, even if by some miracle that new director reshoots the whole damn movie and now Bryan Singer cannot be called The Director, he will still be the producer and that can not be changed. So, is this moved dead before its even arrived? Ive wondered. If more comes out about Singer, I have to wonder at what point is it so poisoned that you cant even release it? I dont know.
