Lin Manuel Miranda is 3/4 to an EGOT. The guy in this blind has only won/been nominated in award in ONE medium. That's supposed to be a big clue.
Matthew Morrison has NO major awards, but he's been nominated for a Golden Globe, Emmy, Grammy and Tony, so I don't think that works either.

Matthew Morrison is a Tony nominee for light in the Piazza 2005 and Emmy nominee for Glee ( 2009). He was also recurring on Greys Anatomy over Two seasons not one.
It’s not him.
And, actually, Morrison was only in 4 episodes . “ recently appeared for a season” implys that the person was basically a main cast member for whole season.
