This does argue against the left-wing position that sexual orientation is fixed from birth. Entertainment women are a lot more lesbian (and, arguably, misandronistic) than in the past.
@Unknown: No, it doesn't. What's changed is societal acceptance of non-heterosexuality. It may look like there are more LGTBxxx folks than there used to be, but what's really going on is that it's (somewhat) safer to explore and express your sexual variance. And finally holding men responsible for their bad behavior is not "misandry." It's a step towards equality.
