You can have a lot of complaints about an ex or your relationship and still not consider them physically violent enough to perpetuate abuse on somebody else.
People have to realize the type of woman who stays in a volatile relationship for a number of years is usually contributing to it in one way or another - this includes Kate Moss.
However, Johnny Depp as a person has ALWAYS come across as a more mellow and introverted individual. Sure he probably loses his shit and breaks things but this is not the same as violently hurting somebody else.
I am unfamiliar of the shooting Winona with a gun story, which would shift my perspective.
Winona was last with Depp in 1993, that's 27 years ago. People change.
You are unfamiliar with it because it is not true. It was a blind posted here and if I recall correctly was associated with that hmmm character. Enty is just saving his ass cause the fact that the notoriously private Ryder would go out of her way to right a public deposition shows the shooting story is pure BS. Enty also had the nerve to out her as a survivor of child molestation in one of his reveals, which again is beyond unethical and just a pathetic thing to just randomly write about. And probably not true.and if it was, not his story to tell.
I was severely beaten by someone whose ex-wife claims never hit her. This led me to severe guilt, wrongly thinking that I was the cause. My therapist who specialized in DV told me that abusers DO NOT hit everyone they are involved with.
I just think it’s important enough (Donestic Violence) for me to point this out.

--This is beyond merely volatile. Regardless of how Moss acted, there is no reason for violence ever. A guy can walk away. I have had my share of romantic spats, but never got anywhere near this. It's no where near the realm of normal.

+1@Hunter. I’ve met both of these women. May have mentioned it here b4, but Winona & I used to live near each other & whenever I saw her, she was always, sweet, kind and gracious. I am not the kind of person who approaches celebrities. Honestly, most of the time, I don’t even notice them. But she’s actually very friendly & initiates conversations. Kate, OTOH, I’ve worked with, and she is, and has always been a coke whore. Do I think it was okay for Johnny to trash a hotel room 20-something years ago? No, I don’t, but does anyone else here understand that Kate was not at all abused, and, most likely, egged him on? That’s her personality. Trust me.
Re: Amber, her rap sheet goes back to when she was a minor, so many things have been sealed—including the fact that her driver’s license was suspended for several years and coincidentally, her BFF died in a car accident at that point in time. She clearly faked her ‘bruises’ that Johnny supposedly caused (good thing that one of her BFF’s is a make-up artist.) Gotta say, I don’t see any evidence that Johnny was or is an abuser. Clearly he abuses his own body, but that’s another story.
@Freebird: I am so sorry for your experience 💜. One of my close friends went through a divorce (based on DV) a few years ago. I cannot comment on previous relationships as they met each other on a school bus in 6th grade! She said that she never wanted to have another serious relationship, but, happily, her BF just moved in with her. I know that you’ve been moving around a bit (hope the kids are okay, based on your influence), but I truly hope that you won’t let your past define your future. 🌸💗🌸
The story with Gwyneth, Winona, and the Shakespeare film was that Winona had the script, Gwyneth saw it in her possession, and promptly stole the role. Whether this is fact I do not know.
Those who have bothered to review the evidence regarding Heard's accusations know she has systematically lied for the past four years because he would not yield to her financial blackmail.
Johhny Depp has never been arrested for domestic violence and not a single person has come forward to say he was ever violent to them. Smashing or hitting objects is not domestic violence. Angry words aren't domestic violence either. Amber Heard has been arrested for domestic violence twice. She also killed her friend via reckless driving while under the influence. She stubbed a cigarette out on his face after she severed his finger, defecated in his bed, threw a can of paint thinner at his face, spat at him, punched him repeatedly in the face while he was lying in bed. She also defamed the police officer who arrested her after she assaulted her (then) wife by accusing the officer of being homophobic and misogynistic despite the police officer being a gay woman.
Penelope Cruz is the latest to defend Depp. There will be more.
The trial is in nine days and the truth will be known.
I wrote this once before but in 1989 or 90ish I was on the set of Edward Scissorhands as my cousin was an extra. I was obsessed with Depp. Anyways I was talking to a security guard when a young lady with horrible long hair came up and started talking to us. I thought she was another extra or perhaps a behind the scenes person. We talked for about 30 minutes while I gushed about how I wanted to meet Johnny. After she left, the guard told me that was Winnona (in a wig for the movie). I had no idea. She was so sweet and normal, especially as my 17 year old self was saying how cute her (then) boyfriend was. The guard told me she was the nicest person, sweet to all and she would feed johnny all his food each day because it would take too long to remove the scissor hands.
