Survivor Producer A Suspect In Wife's Murder
Bruce Beresford-Redman, who is a producer for Survivor, is in custody in a Mexican jail today. He is a suspect in the death of his wife. A few days ago he reported her missing in Cancun and there were some blurbs about how everyone felt sorry for the guy and how this was tragic and even if some Mexican drug cartel was responsible. Well, it turns out there have been witnesses who have come forward to say they saw the couple arguing on Sunday night. On Thursday her body was found in a sewer at the resort where the couple had been staying.
Bruce had previously told the police that his wife disappeared on Monday and had never returned.

While it is usually a spouse that is responsible for the untimely death of a man or woman, just because they were seen arguing before her disappearance doesn't make him guilty. I just say that because I have two friends who are witnessed fighting on a daily basis and have been witnessed fighting, usually pretty vehemently, for the last 25 years and neither has killed the other yet.

Is it just me, or does it seem like more and more people are choosing to knock off their spouses in Mexico and other lawless countries? If you're afraid of getting caught or punished, how about you just DON'T DO IT.
Yep, divorce, alimony and FREEDOM is a hell of a lot better than the inside any prison!
I've been to Cancun a couple of times, even the grass at resorts smells like a sewer; so a Mexican sewer is one of the grossest places I can imagine putting a body in. Just EWWW :(

RJ, if one of your friends ends up murdered, the other one can expect to be a suspect, just like this guy.
nobody's convicting this man but it would be idiocy not to look at him as a good bet for the perpetrator.

here's the scoop. she cleaned out their bank account and took the kids to hawaii last week. he talked her into meeting him in cancun to discuss things. she turns up strangled and dead.
