Camille Grammer Is A Piece Of Work
I have to admit that I had been waiting for last night's episode of Real Housewives Beverly Hills. I knew it was going to feature Camille Grammer extensively and I was hoping and hoping it would be worth the wait. It was incredible. Even if you have never watched a RH show, I encourage you to at least watch this one episode to see how self entitled one Playboy Playmate can get when she marries some rich guy.
From the handing of the phone to her house manager because Camille could not be bothered to hold it, to only having time to talk to her cancer stricken mother while getting her nails done is just the tip of the iceberg. There were the comments about how her New York City apartment at just 3,500 square feet was too confining and how she was used to her estates. Please.
Oh and when Adrienne Maloof's uncle died and she called Camille, the first thing Camille thought of was how this was going to affect Camille. I seriously do not understand how Kelsey managed to stay with Camille as long as he did. I don't even know why he married her or went out with her past date one.

She struck me as being borderline crazy. Sitting there, complaining to her (cancer stricken) mother about how the possibility of getting cancer was really messing up her busy schedule. She's a mother (who refused to carry her own children) with nannies and house managers and Nickelodeon shows to develop! She tried to throw herself a pity party to her mother, who was going through chemo. My favorite part was when she said to her mother "I'm so glad Kelsey found a good doctor for you". It came across to me as "you're so lucky we're rich. Wouldn't you be miserable without us?"

I have been saying it from day one, Camille Grammar is something else, trust me, this is JUST the tip of the iceberg with this chick.
You know I hate to say this but I can see why Kelsey bailed on the marriage. Kelsey (who is no saint) does seem down to earth while Camille is way too high maintenance and selfish. I love how she proclaims how busy she is with a house manager, 2 personal assistants and 4 nannies for 2 kids. When she kisses Kelsey goodbye a few episodes ago he seemed to drive away from the house like a bat out of hell. When she greeted him by throwing herself on him, he seemed uncomfortable. Plus the scene where kelsey is playing with the kids, when camille joined in, the kids stopped playing. To me, that showed that the kids were not comfortable playing with her meaning she must rarely if ever play with her kids. Any her flirty ways with her male married friends is disgraceful.
I was surprised at Kyle Richards, how down to earth she is compared to the 2 assholes (see ENTY blind item of yesterday) she has for nieces. I am totally obsessed with her.

Telling camera she & Kelsey have been flying private forever so it's no big deal to her but that "lately" they've been flying commercial to be more green b/c "everybody needs to do their part"--bitch you are flying commercial b/c you are getting divorced & the money wagon is slowing down!
And to answer another commenter's question, this was filmed while he was leaving her, went to NYC and hooked up/got that other woman pregnant. So he's no prize either. She said in the first episode doing this show would help her "come out"/show the world who she was. Yes, show us all what a vapid bitch she is.
Camille is, in my opinion, has probably the lowest self esteem on the planet. She is constantly looking for attention on how "busy" she is and how hard things are without Kelsey around because it is all "her." Insane! She talks about how she is so grateful to have help because it is so difficult.
Honestly, the children do not even seem like they even know who the heck she is!
I loved when she said how she and Kelsey are "very generous" and allowed some friends to use one of their homes. Strange.
That said, I do not think it was right of Kelsey to help set her up with this show, knowing she is going to become more famous and then betray her in such a public way. No matter how terrible a person she may be, she is his wife and his children's mother. No one deserves that.
He should have acted with more discretion and divorced her before finding a younger girlfriend and knocking her up.

@MISCH-I have heard that said before about them "outsourcing" their children, but do we know that to be true? Are you sure it wasn't because there was some other reason? IE she couldn't get pregnant or something like that? I have a difficult time blasting anyone for the choices they make in planning their family, but if they did indeed "outsource" their kids for convenience sake, that is pretty scary.

I knew of Camille when she was a dancer on Club MTV at NYC's Palladium with Downtown Julie Brown and followed her career after wards through mutual friends. She was something else back then and from what I have heard about her since, once she got some Kelsey money, she became a prize winning.......rhymes with hunt......
Ice Angel- she admitted to using surrogates because she didn't want to put her body through that. Her opinion was if you have the money, why not?
At the time the kids were born, she claimed she got a surrogate because she had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I think she said something different on this reality show (I won't watch).
I think I can understand why Kelsey married her. B/c she is precisely what he wanted. Honestly, Camille Grammer tells me everything about Kelsey Grammer's character that I ever wanted to know.
I agree with Borg Queen, Kelsey was right to dump her. I was on the "love Camille" bandwagon, if there was one, because of the way the media manipulated me into thinking Kelsey is a jerk. He may be, probably is, but I can fully understand why he needed to get out of that marriage.
I absolutely love Camille Grammer. She is one of my favorite reasons to watch the show! She is a repulsive human being - like one of the worst. It is so immensely entertaining. I look forward to watching her make a complete ass of herself each week! Kyle, Lisa and Adrienne are waaay too normal and nice. I need more of Camille and the other one with the clown face (can't remember her name - Taylor?). And Kim is just boring and has no business being on the show. Oh how I love Thursday nights.
I have IBS, it isn't fun but I still managed to have 3 children. She is just a low down lazy tramp.
Camille strikes me as the most self absorbed of the whole lot. Have you guys seen Kelsey's new piece? She is not pretty by Hollywood standards, but she looks like a regular person. Who wouldn't get tired of a plastic Barbie doll. Women like that are a turnoff.
I loved how Kelsey set up the dump...saying something like 13 years of marriage to Camille hadn't been a picnic (or connubial bliss as he said). He was so detached it was hard to watch. Camille is psycho, plain and simple. I adore Kyle and Lisa. Poor Kim is pathetic and I can't get past Taylor's Rinna-lips.
So with you on the Camille-hate. It is literally as if her mental and emotional development stopped at thirteen or so. It's irritating but appropriate for kids that age to be utterly self-absorbed and thoughtless and spoiled. Not at all attractive or even benign when that person fails to go on and develop a sense of empathy and set of ethics.
I haven't watched the show but what I don't get is why she thinks she is so hot when she is very much the opposite. Blech.

the scene with her mother didn't strike me that it was the only time she had to talk to her---it struck me that she made the entire conversation about herself, instead of her mother who FUCKING HAS CANCER!!!!!! it was all about camille's stress and camille's this and camille's that.

It WAS an awesome show! It was akin to eating at Taco Bell and then stopping by 7-11 for a bag of bad candy: All garbage, but all fun. Camille is nasty- plain and simple, but what I didn't get, (as a pretty much first time watcher) is why the other "housewives" (snarf!) didn't jump into the fight at the restaurant- Camille looked like a damn lunatic and they all just sat there with their mouths open! I liked the Kyle housewife; she seemed almost normal. Camille has serious trannyface if you ask me.
Kelsey was probably on drugs at the time.
It became crystal clear to me last night while watching the show why Kelsey agreed to do it: Publicity for La Cage. Did you see the T-shirts? Was it mentioned extensively? Will Bravo run this episode over and over and over again?

Camille has the kind of narcissism that makes reality television worth watching. Aim a camera at her and ask her to speak about her life and she produces "reality gold." I can see that people's moral sensibilities are being triggered by all of this, but for me, it's just over-the-top self-absorption of the kind that many of the drag queens I have known in my life behave. I would still rather spend time with Camilla that Kyle, for instance, or virtually any of the other cast members except ... tragic Kim. Sad, tragic Kim.
OK, first I admit that I wanted to watch the show to hate Camille, but surprisingly, I kinda like her. She comes off very entitled in the interviews, but her interactions aren't that bad.
Second, I'm on her side with the Kyle feud. I remember when Kyle said whatever she said and it DID sound like she was saying, "Why would anyone want to be around you when Kelsey isn't there?" All Kyle had to do in last night's episode is be an adult and say, "OK, maybe I did say something like that and you took it that way. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it." But both of them were acting like children during that spat.
Kelsey Grammar is NOT a nice person, folks! How many times has he been married? I think that his marriage to Camille lasted as long as it did was that they are birds of a feather. So why condemn Camille and not Kelsey?
And the reason that she had kids via surrogacy wasn't for vanity but she had severe IBS, which is not a great disorder to have. This is from an IBS website:

@ Hayley-if she meant put her body through it because of her IBS and the toll it would take on her health, then I get that. I guess it can be taken two ways-one being that she was more concerned about her figure and the hassle of being pregnant.

I don't hate Camille, she landed a whale with Kelsey and was smart to hang on through the years. She will be fine with a heavy divorce setttlement and letting her children be raised by rotating nannies.

Camille is so incredibly God-awful - just absolutely ugly, inside and out. I can't believe ANYONE would marry her, let alone someone who is successful and charming. She thinks she has a "Jesus complex," because she gives Kelsey's money away to her creepy free-loading "friends?" That she is SOOO busy, worn-out and misunderstood, because she "runs" several households (wherein she orders her staff to do everything). This woman came from nothing, was a skanky tramp dancing in the background of a sleezy MTV show, and landed a sugar daddy, absolutely vulnerable and desperate just coming out of rehab and with serious emotional and substance abuse issues. Sad for Kelsey. Camille absolutely took advantage. And, one of her worst lines?! How she dedicated her life to Kelsey's sobriety - that's been her full time job, and it's due to her that he survived. What an incredible load of BS. Every professional, as well as recovering addict will tell you that it is their will and their will alone that can keep them sober. She's such an unbelievable narcissist. I hate divorce, but how Kelsey stayed with her for more than a week boggles the mind. This is one instance that I truly wish the court would step in and say this b*tch has gotten enough - time to cut her off and send her back to the gutter. She should get nothing. Afterall, if she has a Jesus complex, then be poor.

I'm a huge fan of Kyle & Lisa and having grown up in the 80s I am fascinating with Kim's post-fame life. She has plenty going for her and needs to get it together! Taylor and Camille can go to hell and I'm neutral on the last one.
I can never hate on Kelsey Grammer, because if you know his tragic background, I am surprised he is not in loony bin. Most people who have endured what he has, end up pretty bad off. He is a living Shakespeare tragedy and I hope his next woman is better than his last.
