Oh Those Crazy Googlians

Google always seems to be trying new tricks to keep people coming back. This latest one is very very cool. Go to google.com and in the search box type let it snow. Watch what happens. Keep watching for a minute to get the full effect.

Everytime I try to use google.com it automatically redirects to google.ca. What is it?

It starts snowflakes on your screen then starts to cloud up a bit, a little button comes up and says 'defrost' and clears your screen of 'frost' and snows again. Very cute!

SueEllen - on google.ca, if you scroll down to the bottom, you can click on google.com and it will redirect you there.

Don't type "snow," type "let it snow", and hit search.

Awww, I love Google. Did you see that you can use your mouse when it's frosted to make a smiley (or whatever)?

Read this article about the other little hidden gems. I feel like Steven Hawking just explained the universe using legos.
