Good for Meryl and Vogue I guess- I mean, it's not the first lady of Syria, so good on them. And Meryl is a beautiful woman, but I don't even want to think about how much photoshop went into ruining this picture.

I will see "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" as well. When I first heard about it, and even when I saw the trailer, I kind of wondered what the point was. But it has received some pretty stellar reviews, even in Sweden, so now I feel like I HAVE to go see it...*L*

I think it's probably cheaper to have these contracts for Clooney than it would be to hire prostitutes all the time. I mean, the actresses would get less money because they get media exposure in return. It has become laughable though, how he floats from one girl to the next?!? Makes me wonder things about him that I would never have associated with him.
I've read on other sites that Clooney was gay, but I've also read that he's just into really kinky stuff. I tend to believe the latter more. It's a lot easier to tie down one woman with a contract for a couple of years than to hire hookers and risk the possibility of photos or video being sold to an adult film company, which is exactly what the hookers would do.
The D-list actresses he deals with get clothing allowances, free travel arrangements, a bump in pay for personal appearances because of being attached to Clooney and media exposure. For someone like Kleiber--who seems to know how to keep her mouth shut--it can be the way to securing a hosting gig on an entertainment news show or a recurring role on a decent comedy.
