**(Note from Enty) A month or two I had a blind item about the same couple, but mine was about the famous half cheating. Maybe they have some type of open relationship because it seems like these two don't ever even have the time for each other.** Now back, to the amazing Janet.
Hollywood could be gearing up for the next big divorce. This gay couple has been together a long time and they’ve already started a family. They seem like the picture of happiness. Here’s the surprising part – the LESS famous half of the pair is cheating with a twentysomething midwestern stud! He flies the hot young guy around and puts him up in hotels and sneaks out to see him when he’s not parading around with his “happy gay family.” During Oscar week he spent every spare minute with his muscular paramour.

I say Elton and his partner because NPH and David have never married, at least not that I can find on google. The blind says gearing up for "divorce" - Elton and David are actually married.
NPH is not married to David Burtka...
Plus the "they dont ever have time for eachother" definitely doesnt fit. The two are always spotted together.

Glad it can't be NPH, since he isn't married and therefore can't get divorced. I'd also be crushed if this were Matt Bomer (not sure if they're married either, though). I'm okay with it being Elton though, since he seems like he'd be a really tough person to be married to.
I say Elton & David Furnish..mostly because I just like NPH & David Burtka sa much, say it ain't so. Also, it does seem like they are often seen together so it doesn't seem like this blind fits in that respect.
Are we sure they're not cool with the cheating? I don't want to start a screaming match but from some of the gay couples I've known, cheating isn't as taboo as it is in straight relationships.
NPH. Isnt Enty the one who had the post about something not being right? Elton fits too but my first instinct was NPH who I love btw so hopefully Im wrong.
Enty did comment about something not being right in NPH's relationship, but it was in reference to him saying they were in no rush to get married... which means they can't be getting a divorce.
I think divorce here is not being used literally, but as a slangy way to say break up (because until this country gets itself right in the head about allowing gay marriage, there will *always* be confusion about whether a gay couple is "married" or just "together".).
I think it's NPH. And I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear they had an open relationship. Plenty of precedent for open relationships in the gay community, and both guys are surrounded by temptation all the time.
I actually know David B., he's from Michigan and his dad still lives here. I think this is NPH.
Seachica - I respectfully disagree with you completely. If divorce we not meant to be taken literally, this blind would just call it a split. You don't see blind items throwing around the word "divorce" for straight couples that are not married. And NPH has made a big deal out of the fact that they are not married, so there is no confusion there.
Elton. Elton would have had his hands full with his annual Oscar party, leaving hubby with alone time with the side piece.
The opening line of this blind starts: "Hollywood is gearing up...."
Elton and David are not Hollywood based - they live in London, and neither is American (not that this is mentioned) - Elton's British and David's Canadian).
All that aside, this could very well be them.
The blind does also mention Oscar week though and Elton has one of the most popular after parties so he is definitely in LA that week.

I'm on the Elton/David train. But, as others have said, we gays have a rather fluid relationship with monogamy. A relationship has to be really strong though to be able to survive it. It's not cheating if both know about it. Hell, they may even share the same guy at times. It happens and can be a lot of fun.
@Surfer - FYI - Elton's living in America now. He's doing a 3-year stint in Las Vegas that he began last November. (I don't think it's him, I'm just passing on what I learned.)

If you're being picky, the clues don't fit for either Elton or NPH with their Davids.

I agree that "divorce" is being used to just mean break up. I know couples who have never married, but have been together long enough to have their whole lives intertwined (property, possessions, kids), who use the term divorce when they break up. I don't think that's very uncommon.
I do think this is Neil andd David, which makes me really sad. I remember NPH tweeting a looong time ago about how he and David had proposed to each other in the past & were just waiting for the right time to get married (legally). I think it was when Prop 8 was overturned.

It's definitely Elton and David. Pay attention to the last sentence. Elton John is always busy during the Oscars what with throwing a fabulous annual party and all. The less famous half spent every SPARE minute with the sidepiece.

Honestly, this could go either way, NPH/David Burtka or Elton/David Furnish.
NPH/DB have been together since 2004, RJ/DF since 1996 or so. That's a very long time.
Both couples have children, and they've even done the play date in the South of France together last summer.
If the divorce is literal, then it points to EJ/DF because NPH/DB are not married and have said that although they could get married in NYC, they will wait until its legal in California as well.
Both NPH and Burtka post photos together somewhat regularly on twitter, including during Oscar week. I'm pretty sure DB had a brother and his kids visiting that weekend.
EJ/DF have the kind of money for extra flights, hotel rooms, whatever. Burtka, maybe not so much.
Burtka is from Michigan, so meeting someone from the Midwest wouldn't be a stretch.
EJ was very busy during Oscar week, as has been pointed out. EJ is doing concerts throughout the US in addition to his shows in Vegas, so he's all over the place and DF does not necessarily stay with him all the time. EJ uses private planes and helicopters all the time.
I'm leaning towards EJ/David Furnish for this one, but I want to see the old blind as well.
PS, that Himmmm page on facebook was made by a troll, I'm sure of it. I never bought into that for a minute.
I love NPH so much I really hope it's not him! Oscar week makes me think Elton.
If it was made by a troll, it wouldn't have had the creation date that was chosen as a clue.
The only semi-fitting blind item I found in Enty's side seems to be this one from last September:
"#4 - This A list everything actor made his significant other come to a huge event with him even though the A list everything was just caught cheating. The rumor is our actor even paid for the significant other to be there so as to not embarrass the actor or have people ask questions."
Would mean it's NPH, if he can be considered A-list? Didn't find anything else. Maybe Enty refers to a blind he posted on Twitter or I missed something.
