She's an amazing songwriter, a really good business woman and works hard. She knows she's not the best musician or singer, but she learned to play instruments and sing well enough to not rely on autotune. She understands music and how to write songs that people can't forget. You may not like her songs, but tens of millions of people do. I've never met her - she may be a bitch, but that's what they call every successful woman who controls her own career. In entertainment, it seems like women either have to be overly controlling bitches, crazy drug addicts or whores. She isn't the last two, so she must be the bitch, right?
I wish she understood her own priviledge better. But - why fault her for taking advantage of having successful parents who raised her to be smart about her life?

You are stating the obvious about her successes. No one is taking that away. She's got some modicum of talent but it's the unspoken BS that makes her such a great blind candidate. Some people are immune to her manufactured public persona to cover the BS in real life and some folks don't do BS well. She is the real life Regina George, at least one of them.
