Blind Item #1

This married foreign born A list celebrity/host who has worked on both sides of the Atlantic says a lot of things in public about being pious. He is very outspoken. He also hits on Instagram models continuously and hooks up with them frequently. Somehow he leaves all of that out when he is having one of his public meltdowns.

@Joseph, love the Sex Pistols reference. That was the end of Bill Grundy.

Maybe Piers Morgan, but he is not remotely pious.

@Dog Mom

"Pious" & "Piers" are homophones - when pronounced they sound more or less the same...

@Nick, thank you.

I mean this in all seriousness: I thought homophones were words that sound the same, but are spelled differently and have different meanings. For example, piers and peers. I have not had an English class is many moons, so I am probably wrong. FWIW, Dog Dad is an English professor. I on the other hand did the 101 and 102 requirement in college and forgot most of it.

@Dog Mom You are of course correct, I should have said "near homophones" to fit with the rest of my sentence. "Sanctimonious little git" is a pretty apt description of him so perhaps his piety comes from his "holier than thou" shtick.

If it proves to be him, it's a neat bit of wordplay by Enty.

Pios and Piers do not sound at all alike idk where you got that from. I genuinely don't think it's Piers he is a git but in no way religious, and he rarely takes the moral high ground.
