Blind Item #7

This celebrity CEO lied to the public a couple months back when he claimed his #2 guy, who ran the manufacturing operation, was just taking a leave to spend more time with his family.   Yesterday he finally had to admit the guy left the company for good.   Just another item in a long list of securities fraud charges he will see from the Feds.

The celebrity CEO’s company is so strapped for cash, it doesn’t have the standard spare parts inventory ready for car owners. If you get into an accident, it can take months to get your new parts.

I would've done a 29 year old Cher no problem. Good for Anthony, and I don't think he's complaining.

Any blind about the "celebrity CEO" in financial hardship might as well just be a Reveal from the start. Is it ever anyone besides Musk?

I'm just impressed to see a Tesla blind on a day the stock is not rising for a change. Or will it...Buy Buy Buy! ;)

Oh wait, you mean the engineer that couldn't meet production targets that Elon had to push out? Whew, at first I thought it was someone that wasn't f*cking up at their job.

"Tesla missed the goal that Musk had set for the first quarter, though, and shortly after that, the CEO reportedly pushed Field aside and took over Model 3 production."

If letting a top exec leave somewhat on their terms rather than making a show of firing them is a matter for the SEC then every major company should be under investigation. It’s incredibly rare for someone on Doug Fields level to be publicly fired. Either they’re given notice and time to find a new job (so they can announce they’re leaving for that) or they’re given personal time (so they can at least attempt to pretend not coming back was their choice). That’s just how it works.

The parts thing is incredibly old news too. Tesla’s always has this problem. It’s actually been getting a bit better the last 6 months or so.

Once again this is just a rehash of what was in the news about Tesla yesterday, not an actual blind.

I expected a Hedge B.S. blind today since yesterday Tesla announced it finally made 5,000 model 3s in a single week. Stock is down today but fuck you anyway bloodsucker.
Read the very last line of this article, he's not the head engineer.

Just the top vehicle engineer. Musk is the head engineer. And since this guy left production improved so he was shit canned yesterday.

I think when Musk fell in love with going to space it has been nothing but a money suck. He should of just stuck with cars and banging Amber Heard.

But damn those rockets landed at the same time!

Sandy you're gonna have to drink the Musk Flavor-aid sooner or later.

There's a very good chance those "rockets landing at the same time" was faked.

Why only two sets of video footage? Weren't there people all over the place with smartphone cameras? Why isn't it everywhere?

Musk's fall will be just short of Icarus's.

What's more interesting is how so many people seem to think Musk is a genius. He's a salesman.

Brayson87 said...

@Unknown, so were most so-called geniuses. Having a great idea doesn't mean sh!t if you can't make it a reality. It's like how dolphins and whales are highly intelligent, but what are they going to do with just flippers?

Just taking a guess, Ddonna, but I would think they landed someplace away from spectators in case of catastrophic failure? Where would you prefer them to land, Times Square?

"So long, and thanks for all the fish!"

IanPhlegming said...

I-yi-yi.

People should look at the limited video that's available of the two rockets landing. It's at a distance, but people are watching from a hill. Very few people. There should've been hundreds, as well as dozens of personal smartphone videos. There isn't

The Tesla in space was definitely faked. There was a glitch in the feed where you saw it still in a tube surrounded by green screen. The video was up on YouTube for a few days before the YouTube fascists spiked it.

Where does all the money go? Is it just incompetence and inability to budget??

A CEO, especially a celeb CEO, lying to the public?
Well, I never. Clutch a doily and grab the smelling salts.
