ReplyDeleteIf this blind is truly Madonna, the only way she could sell out arenas again is to go back and play nothing but her old stuff.. Market it as a greatest hits tour, boom done.. Middle aged people with disposable income will eat that up.
ReplyDeleteI'm her age,and it sucks getting old. A little pain at 30 is a crippling injury now. But the fact she doesn't reschedule means there is more to it than injury. But no one wants to take out a loan to see a show these days, especially someone who shows up 3 hours late.

ReplyDeleteMadonna IS the problem, Bruno. People are sick of her showing up HOURS after the expected start time, they are sick of her political rants during her shows, they are sick of how she treats people who pay to see her. Her attitude is a huge issue.
ReplyDeleteThere are artists that charge just as much if not MORE than her ($4000 FACE VALUE for a front row Eagles ticket for example) who SELL OUT their shows.

I agree she would sell out an arena tour with playing more hits and lowering the price. Still, doesn't not being able to play arenas reduce your rating? Permanent A list acts should at least be able to do that.

ReplyDeleteLMAO Bruno. Even the gays are giving up on Madonna. And no, she does not command higher ticket prices than the Rolling Stones or the Eagles. BOTH acts consistently outsell her and are always ranked in the top tier grossing acts of the year every time they tour.

ReplyDeleteGood, more tickets for me. I can happily say I have never wasted money on a Madonna ticket. You really have to be an arrogant, out of touch, over the hill asshole, like Madonna, to keep audiences waiting for hours, on a semi regular basis.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bruno, the Eagles only played two dates in the United States in 2019, and only 14 more dates overseas lolol. Weird Al could have outgrossed that. It is because the Eagles spent most of 2018 touring, and they are always a top grossing act. So neither the Eagles nor Madonna are on teh Top 20 grossing acts for 2019. That goes to Elton John, Justin Timberlake and Metallica.
Shockingly, as of July of this year, Ed Sheeran has had the highest grossing solo tour of all time.

I'm not spending a dime on any artist who is more than 10 minutes past start time. I go to lots of concerts at various size venues and I have money to spend. But, I'm not putting up with that crap. Never did; never will. I never showed up late for work. Same rule applies to Madonna.
ReplyDeleteSaw the Eagles last year. They hit that stage at 8:04. Professional as can be. Plus, they have Vince Gill playing and singing. Superb musician.
Madonna can take a long walk off a short pier.

Political rants at a concert are so old. Have some class and respect what people are there for
