Just starting out, the now permanent A+ actor made inroads into the business, via the Laurel Canyon/Sunset Strip crowd in the late 60’s/early seventies by dealing pot. He was known as the man to see for the best weed. It helped him land that iconic small part in the counterculture independent film that ultimately catapulted him into stardom.
