Chris Brown Needs To Take It Like A Man

I understand why Chris Brown pleaded not guilty yesterday to the two felony charges against him. He is doing it so he can get the best possible guilty plea for himself. It still doesn't make it any easier to accept. The judge must have had a really hard time when she heard his plea of not guilty.

I mean I guess it is possible that Chris was driving down the street in the middle of the night and kept having to stop short and Rihanna kept hitting the dashboard or the windows with her face instead of bracing herself with her hands.

Because we all have seen the photos of Rihanna's face Chris Brown's plea seems ridiculous. What is ridiculous is that it appears the only guilty plea he will accept is one that sees him serving no prison time. He will accept as much probation as the district attorney wants to give him, but doesn't want to serve any jail time. Why? Is he scared to serve 30 days? Is he afraid that some inmate would do to him what he allegedly did to Rihanna? Yeah, it sucks to be on the receiving end doesn't it Chris? In actuality he probably wouldn't even come into contact with other prisoners. For his own safety they would give him a private cell and he would just sit there for a month watching tv and reading.

I guess he isn't even man enough to do that.

enty, altho i completel agree w/ you...all this guy is doing is based on the advice of his lawyer, so why are you surprised?

Most people do enter a not guilty plea even when there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary. In any case, Chris is still a coward. I am tired of looking at this punk.

b/c ent is an entertainment lawyer, not a criminal one

"Is he scared to serve 30 days"
Well of course he is! He's a r&b singer who looks like he's 12! He'll be ass-raped by the guards before he even gets to the search!

Plus, the only way he can save his rep now is by pleading not guilty anf fighting it. Because if he did happen to win, he would be able to pull the whole "Seeeee? I'm innocent! :D" bullshit....

Considering he has yet to release a statement taking responsibility for the assault...

Jungle007 said...

@ sue ellen- so entertainment icons' crimes aren't criminal ones???

How can he man up when he's still a little boy?

aren't all women and children beaters cowards?

It's also probably for p.r. - I know a number of people who still think that Rihanna attacked him and he acted in self defense. :(

Look at the face he puts out to make him look like he is sorry or not guilty.

I would be surprise if he did end up serving time but I doubt it very much. These celebrities do end up getting away with murder as far as I see it.

@Jungle.

Of course they are however, ent. lawyers and criminal lawyers are different.

Love the grandpa sweater and the meek stance.

I wouldn't have thought he knew what humble looked like. Nice coaching, Counselor.

And soooooo...the cycle of violence will perpetuate itself-- what with all the teeny-boppers who already think he's innocent AND/or that it was Rihanna's fault, and all the industry bigwigs acting like nothing happened to protect the bottom line--when he's NOT convicted of anything that requires doing time.

SO HE MUST BE INNOCENT, RIGHT?

Justice-schmustice.

MY kind of justice will be when somebody beats his pretty-boy pussy ass to a pulp, AFTER f*cking it with a sharp stick.

I'm surprised he isn't holding a picture of his mother and the bible. Piece of shit. Him, not the bible.

Even Martha Stewart did her time. I guess Martha's got more balls than wimpy Chris.

CDAN Mod said...

martha had no choice. she lied to the feds. you do not lie to a grand jury.

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

I bet Martha has bigger balls than most men.

Sue Ellen- No snark here, but what exactly does an entertainment lawyer do? Because I in all honesty thought that the whole ENT LAWYER thing was just a load of cute b.s...
When I see a celeb in court, they usually have normal criminal lawyers with them. I never believed Ent was a real lawyer (no offense if you are Ent.)

AMD said...

Contract stuff mostly. They're not courtroom lawyers.

KellyLynn said...

Very few lawyers spend much time in court. Most of them spend their days behind a desk, researching, writing and reviewing legal documents.

In addition to what AMD said I think that depending on what type of lawyer (environmental, criminal, entertainment ect) you are you learn things that are geared to what your field of expertese is. Basically if you write a song and someone steals it, ent is your man. If you kill someone, you need O.J's lawyer. Although I am not 100 percent sure as I am not a lawyer.

Jungle007 said...

@ sue ellen- makes sense. I still have my doubts as to ent's career considering he writes bogs all day, but i'll play along..

@ Kellylynn- yup, i know and it must suck balls :)

Don't say you question what he says too loudly on here. I did that one time and the response... well it wasn't very nice.

He needs to just come clean

If you're innocent, what's the counseling that you claim to be going through for?

He's making it worst than what it already is...

what gets me is this, the men are ALWAYS scared of getting jail time cuz they know they'll get their asses kicked. they're terrified of being on the recieving end. but the women stay, shouldn't they be just as terrified and do everything they can to avoid being with that man? and also, being a victim in the situation- wouldn't it strike you as odd that your attacker can dish it out, but can't take it in return? or would it be worse if he wasn't afraid of a beatdown?

excuse me if this comes off as ignorant or naive, i just need some help understanding the situation.

He seems like a candyass.
I hope he's shaking in that ugly sweater. He should be scared and I would love to see him get squashed like a roach. What would make it purely priceless is if he were squashed by a lady RiRi's size with ninja skills.

bionic bunny! said...

considering HER popularity, i hope he does do time with the general population. i doubt seriously he would survive a jailhouse beating.
and i've heard the inmates don't cotton to a man that uses his hands on a woman or that harms children.

who am i kidding? it'll never happen. and if he walks, she'll pay.

catdirt said...

um- honestly i don't think a commissioner downtown would expect a defendant to enter a guilty plea the day of the arraignment. maybe if he was in custody, but probably not even then.

Hope said...

Don't know who "styled" him but he should have worn at suit to court.

AMD said...

Hope, they put him in a sweater to play up his "boyish" face. Boyish = innocent. A suit would have made him look like an adult. I'd be surprised if he ever wears a suit.

shakey said...

So he gets his private cell then comes out and sings/raps about doing hard time. Meh.

Hope said...

AMD, you're absolutely right about the sweater playing up his boyishness. I didn't think of that. I was thinking that a suit would have shown more respect in court and that he was taking the charges very seriously. His lawyer should have also told him to keep a low profile before his court appearance, and refrain from waterskiing.
