Ryan O'Neal Disturbs Me
Tell me I am just seeing things I shouldn't be seeing because of who Ryan O'Neal is. At the funeral of his "lover" he hits on his daughter. Yes, he says he didn't know it was his daughter until she told him, BUT, the fact is he hit on someone at his "lover's" funeral and he obviously couldn't remember what his daughter looked like.
Well, on Sunday he saw Tatum O'Neal for the first time since the funeral and after dinner he said goodbye in a way that is quite possibly the creepiest good bye kiss ever. I am trying to be objective about this. I realize it is not Hulk Hogan spreading Brooke's legs so he can rub her inner thighs with oil. I realize it is not Joe Simpson staring at his daughters breasts or Michael Lohan wanting strippers that look like his daughter or Thora Birch's dad who wants to watch her have sex. It is none of those, but it still creeps me the f**k out.
If this was your dad would this be ok? Grabbing you by the cheeks, closing his eyes and pulling you in while he parts his lips? Stop. I just can't. No more Ryan O'Neal pictures with his daughter. Do you think he tried to slip her the tongue?

It doesn't matter who he kisses, Ryan kissing and getting it on is gross enough but kissing his own daughter like that gross me fucking out!!! Calm down, Enty. Yes, Ryan is a sleaze, but geez! I don't see what you're selling in that picture AT ALL! We all know a photo is a tiny instant in time, and maybe his eyes are closed because he's blinking. Whether his lips are parted or not is debatable - he looks like he's 'pursing', to me. My dad used to put his hand on my shoulder or the back of my head to kiss me goodbye, and there was never anything creepy about it. She's got her hand around his neck, too, if you look closer.

Ryan O'Neal, in general, disturbs me, but this photo doesn't. I think Tatum would have pushed him off if he was overdoing it. She seems tough enough to me to stop that shit cold.

tatum did write a tell all about her crazy family and farrah. it is really good. it's called 'a paper moon.'
in it she says her dad never touched her but he once screamed at her about how he was a good father b/c he never abused her.
she also talks about how a high profile movie star in the 70's sexually assaulted her. she just doesn't say who it is - but im guessing it was one of ryan's ex's
The only way this wouldn't be creepy if if these two have a really good father daughter relationship which doesn't sound like they do. If my father whom I barely know tried to kiss me on the lips he'd get a slap across his mug.

I don't find this creepy or offensive. Lots of dads kiss their kids, even their sons, on the lips. My dad did and there was nothing sexual about it. Ryan may be creepy, but not because of this picture.

My mom and grandma kiss me on the lips all the damn time (I'm a woman) and it drives me nuts. They don't see anything wrong with it!
My husband kisses his kids all the time, including his daughters, but never ever on the mouth. Yeah, ok this picture would be a little creepy even if it were a different father and daughter.

it's creepy. especially b/c it's ryan o'neal and the creepy factor is multiplied by infinity. i come from a very affectionate family. we're all about hugging and kissing, but on the lips? never.
That's majorly disgusting. While it's not always a parents fault how their children turn out, I don't think it's a coincidence that every one of his kids is messed up. So glad Farrah didn't leave the slimeball a dime!
Based on everything I've heard and read, the guy has a DSM IV personality disorder of narcissistic personality. That means nothing in the world counts but him and his feelings. He is an absolute failure as a father and just being around him hurts his kids. I really feel for all of them, but especially Tatum.

I'd like to reference the MacKenzie Phillips story in this discussion. if Ryan O'Neal was willing to hit on his daughter at his partner's funeral, don't you think he would have "gone for it" if she'd said yes? I fully believe it's possible that a teenage MacKenzie would fall for her father hitting on her.
I'm so disgusted by all of this that I'm taking my dog for a long walk. The fresh air will hopefully get the heebies and the jeebies out of my head.
