Casey Anthony Ready To Sell Her Interview

Apparently the people surrounding Casey Anthony feel like the time is right for her to make some money and pay some of her legal fees so they are shopping an interview with her. They probably also tried to make sure her story is straight this time, unless of course she would like to use the opportunity to confess. You know what I thought about the other day? Casey Anthony's lawyer is the same guy who represents that guy who killed the woman in Aruba. Suppose the two of them are hiding out together and one thing led to another and Casey got pregnant. How messed up would that baby be? I have strange thoughts. Can't help it. I drink too much at night.

Anyway, Casey's people are trying to sell the story for $500K to $750K and the network can pick the interviewer and time and place and yes, Casey is desperate. Those millions are not pouring in. Back when she was first found not guilty the network that aired it would have taken some bad public relations but you know what, now I think it would be ok. Also, before they would have got ten times the ratings they will get now and people would have forgotten which network aired it.

This ship has sailed for Casey. She could have made quite a bit immediately after the verdict. But now? No one cares. The public has moved on.

At this point, Casey's best bet to making millions is getting involved in the adult entertainment industry: movies, hosting freaky parties, that sort of thing. No one else is going to deal with her long term.

so I am going to watch an interview where she lies, paints herself as a good mom and throws her parents under the bus.

Seriously, the only punishment she should be given is to be shunned from society. NO PAY DAYS.

The only interview with a murderer I would be watching, is with them behind bars.

People nowa days are LITERALLY getting away with murder. From Wall Street to Wal-Mart! It sucks, and it's shameful and unworthy of this country.

OK. Well, I'll just straight up admit it: If there's an interview with her, I will watch it. I do hate this bitch, but I want to see the interview from a news angle. During the trial, I was dying for her to take the stand. I really want to hear what she has to say for herself.

That said, I am not a supporter of news outlets paying for interviews. Ever. But sadly that is the way our world works in 2011. Everything is a payday.

Wouldn't the Son of Sam law apply to this?

She's not guilty. SOS law does not apply. But any network should know the time will never be right for anything more to do with Totless Mom or the Scamthonys.

timebob has it right - shunning is the only acceptable way to handle Casey. She should be shunned for the rest of her days. @Ray - Son of Sam laws only apply if she were found guilty. Unfortunately. It's a shame no one knows who Caylee's father is - he could sue on civil grounds.

Also the Son of Sam law is only in NY??

I've always wondered who the Dad was and if he didn't know or if it was that she just didn't tell the police. Does some guy out there know he had a daughter that was murdered?

why would anyone pay to hear her lie? shit, if i want to hear lies, i can call my ex-BF. he'll do it for free.

What is the SOS law??

I will not be one of the ones watching this crazy bitch lying.

Sylvia, a murdered can't make any money off their story. They can tell it but they can't profit from it.

I've heard that all the networks have turned this down and even cable channels don't want anything to do with it. I was watching Barbara Walters last night and had a fear she would choose Casey as one of the most fascinating people. The fact she didn't, shows the networks just want nothing to do with this story. The only solice I get from the idea of her selling her story is that even at 500k she would still be in the hole about 10k after all the back taxes she owes from the blood money ABC paid for Caylee's photos, the money she owes to Florida for the investigation and any taxes due on this money.

Thanks Rose for the info. :)

It will all be a bunch of messed up, backward lies anyway...so what's the point?

I didn't follow this story very closely, how did the father of Caylee remain anonymous through all of this? Wouldn't her birth certificate be somewhere in the evidence? It seems like legally the father should've been notified his child was murdered and he seemingly would be a possible suspect. Even if the father wasn't listed on the birth certificate couldn't they have done DNA testing or compelled Casey to name the father?

No father named on the birth cert and no one came forward.

I hate to admit, I would watch it.

Actually, for accuracy's sake, it's not "Casey's people"...it's Scott Sternberg, famous longtime successful reality hack producer. Can you imagine the moral compass on a guy who'd want to make a living off the blood of a child?

I LOVE that so many networks have turned her down. LOVE IT. I hope this is only the first of what I hope is a lifetime of karma related events for her.
