Today's Blind Items- The Killing
I heard this week that the beneficiary of the life insurance policy finally got paid for the death of this actor. The actor, probably B- at the very most worked a lot and was on a hit show at the time of his death. The people closest to him, the people he should have been able to trust are the ones who conspired to make everything look like a suicide. They are the ones who encourage him to get a life insurance policy. They are the ones who made it very large and also knew when suicide would not nullify the policy. They made sure that there was no one else to talk to. They kept him isolated from other people and friends. They talked him into breaking up with a girlfriend. They wanted no one for any authority figure to speak to except for themselves. It was carefully planned and meticulously executed. Now, they finally got paid for all of it.

Definitely Lee Thompson Young, but who are the people this blind is referring to? A friend of mine met him when she first moved to LA and said he was an extremely kind person. Very sad.
But he was documented with friends throughout his final weeks and even his last evening.
The only death on here that was listed as a suicide is Lee

Never heard of Lee but was on R &I, (not sure if hit) and definitely committed suicide(..and was bipolar....(or so I read) .

Agree with Lee Thompson Young guess. Most suicide clauses in life insurance policies are for the first 1-2 years the policy is in effect. I can't recall any other actor suicides in 2012 or 2013. So very sad.
A friend of mine had a co-worker who took a life insurance policy, then two years and one day later, committed suicide. He planned it for two full years; he was married with three children. The day he did it, he wrote a letter to his wife and children, called his parents, then called the police 15 minutes before shooting himself in their kitchen. I can't imagine that thought for two years, or what someone must be struggling with to reach that point.

Lee is from Columbia, SC, not Colombia the country. He also has nothing to do with BC (where Cory hailed from) nor with Columbia University, as he went to USC.... Phew! Are we all caught up now?

I'm still voting Johnny Lewis with Katy Perry the gf forced out. He also seemed to have no contact with his family after he left Scientology.
AND his landlady he saw on a daily basis was murdered. AND they say he may have jumped. Suicide from fall is easier to fake than suicide from gunshot.

Johnny Lewis's pic had been plastered all over Co$ websites as a Narconon success. In less than 24 hours, all references of Lewis were wiped cleaned.
And his father, Michael Lewis, never skipped a beat with his Co$ "speaking/training" engagements (aka brainwashing). Michael Lewis barely acknowledged his son. Fucker.

That is a perfect alternaguess @Crash. It makes more sense because SOA is a bigger hit than R&I, plus the blind title "The Killing" could refer to the land lady.
The ONLY reason I rule against Johnny is because the incident was SO out there, tragic and sudden. I am close with one of Johnny's friends. I have a hard time believing anything so chaotic was so meticulously planned. But crazier things have been alleged in CDaN blinds. Rest in peace to all of these dearly departed actors.
That's the only flaw, but it's more likely that Enty fucks up a timeline than he forgets someone's a Tweener. Enty fucking LOVES tweeters.

My 1st thought was Tony Scott jumping off the bridge not too long ago, but most of the rest doesn't mesh.
Interesting.. recall questioning why Young's manager 'confirmed' suicide so quickly, eerily simultaneous press release. Ran a few internet searches on him - nada. Not even a linkedin. Can't find anything about this manager other than those first articles.
I assumed that Johnny Lewis had a closed head injury thus the bizarre behavior leading to his death.

I agree, it's supposed to be Young, and the $cio connection. R&I is a hit show, and Young was in several movies. His wiki shows a rather odd death entry that could be something or nothing. Or something to make a blind out of.
On August 19, 2013, Young failed to show up for filming an episode of Rizzoli & Isles. Police were called to do a well-being check on him at his Los Angeles apartment, where he was found dead. His manager stated that the actor committed suicide. Police confirmed that the cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Young had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, for which he had been taking medication, and had been suffering from depression before his death.
The wiki also mentions that he played a character who committed suicide to save a civilian on a different show. I could totally see $cio planting things like that to shore up the suicide, as well as specifically mentioning he was bi-polar and suffered from depression.
Young wasn't a scio. Lewis was.

I thought of Lewis too but not sure if works alot would fit him. Plus he had gotten killed off of SOA in 2009 so wasn't on a hit show when he passed in 2012. Probably Young.

what a blind item! very very scary & disturbing. i was under the impression that suicide is never covered by life insurance. learn something new every day; what a sad lesson this is.

My first thought was Cory, but the "breaking up with his girlfriend" bit wouldn't fit because his "relationship" with Lea was a studio stunt.
Johnny Lewis asked to be written out of SOA, no one was happy about it.
So the friends strangled and pushed him then killed the landlord lady who witnessed them murdering him so ties up all loose ends and blames Johnny for murdering the landlord and her cat.. Someone killed her cat too and blamed it on Johnny.
Thought Tony Scott had brain cancer and wanted out of the pain..

The record stipulates that Johnny asked to leave due to creative differences. Kurt said he was sad but that being unhappy is bad for the actor and bad for the show. Kurt also said he would work with Johnny again in a heartbeat.
I think you got confused like I did at first because Kurt said he wasn't surprised but very sad. Which is not far off, since he had a long/severe history with drugs and mental illness, AND had three recent arrests.
If I recall correctly, Johnny got into a scuffle with a neighbor, neughbor's wifey and a painter working next door. They were able to get away and press themselves against the door as he tried to force his way in. They then called the police, who found him dead. That probably explains any neck marks.
If true, Enty would be an accessory after the fact to murder.
Someone should notify the LAPD, FBI, and whoever else that this gossip columnist is helping to cover up a murder.
How do you know Enty hasn't gone to the police? Or how about this. It's gossip everyone is talking about and everyone thinks it happened, maybe even the police. But there is not enough evidence. Or there is enough evidence and someone will get arrested in time.

His manager reported the death as a suicide. Well, his IMDB page shows 2 credits, as a producer in the mid 90's and a co-producer in 2000. Both D list projects. All of a sudden, he's got Exec Producer on a TV series for next year. Hmmmmm.

Johnny's Dad sounds like a real prick. Mother of Johnny Lewis' child says his dad is cheating baby out of money from estate.
To everyone that thinks it is Johnny Lewis - read the blind. It said he works a lot and was on a hit show 'at the time of his death'. He hadn't worked a lot and he was killed off of SOA in the 2009 season. He died in 2012.
