This reporter was one of the most respected reporters of her time. She landed some interviews that are still considered important a half century later. Some of the interviews she landed were just being in the right time in the right place. Her Hollywood interviews though were her knowing more than everyone else and using that information to get exclusive interviews. (Aline Mosby)
#1- There was this permanent A+ list singer who blew off an interview with her. One week later after she told him she would release the story of him having sex with a 13 year old he gave the reporter an interview and gave her a dozen other interviews over the course of his career.

Most of the gossip columnists (she started as one) back then knew how to use fear, intimidation and blackmail to get what they needed. Those reporters had power.

Enty has had other reveals about Elvis, he liked tween girls. Priscilla was not the first or the last. Priscilla stated he never touched her again after she gave birth.

She was respected in her day as a celebrity journalist, I assume, not knowing anything about the machinations of Hollywood.

I'm surprised people don't get MORE upset over Elvis and the little girls. Mention Roman Polanski, out come the pitchforks, mention Elvis, people make jokes about peanut butter and banana sammiches, fat Elvis, girls in white underpants, dying on the toilet, but hardly ever is he hammered for pursuing a sexual interest in junior high schoolers.
Well, to be fair, Elvis wasn't a particularly respectable guy either.
Who are you hanging out with? I don't know anyone who admires Polanski and most don't even know how old Priscilla was when she met Elvis, no less about his predilection for underage girls.
Most people, in this day and age, don't even know who Elvis was anymore and those who grew up then didn't think much of it. In the '50's, kids got married at 16 and 17, whether for love or a shotgun wedding. We didn't invent sex.
it's funny how every woman who ever admitted to having sex with elvis publicly was always over age. every woman who spent time with elvis who was underage, including his ex wife, has stated he didn't have sex with them. not one underage girl since 1956 has ever stepped forward or went to the press and accused elvis of having sex with them. he's either incredibly lucky or stories of his obsession with underage girls greatly exaggerated.
