Mice. I had one fall down on my head while I was in the shower (it was in a basement). I about broke my neck getting out of there. HATE them.

Silverfish & palmetto bugs ("flying roaches") are equally awful, to me. Of all Florida bugs, these will make me the most horrified. I love Florida, born & raised, but I despise these bugs.

Hmmm, all are animals unless plants, fungi, bacteria, and protists (high school days). I can deal with any bug but reptiles will get me running. Just found a venomous water moccasin on Tuesday wrapped around a tree front yard. It scooted off but they are all over the neighborhood thanks to road constructions and blasting.

I watched Jaws probably 10 times in a week when I was a kid. I was obsessed with that movie.
It was nearly impossible for me to go swimming in the neighborhood pool afterwards because I would see shadows underwater and have anxiety attacks even though logically I knew it was nothing.
Still have that issue sometimes to this day and I won't go in the ocean at all, lol

Same, I live in Florida and I went into the bathroom the other night and was greeted by a palmetto bug flying at my face. I screamed and yelled for my boyfriend to come kill it, but he said it wasn't there when he checked. I went back in and it was on the door... Nope!

Earwigs? If that's what you're referring to, I hate those things!
